Probably a thermistor gone bad. When unit gets too hot the thermistor opens and cuts off juice to the heating element. Replace the thermistor.

Replace the grill. I have one for sale.

Hi, i would get ahold of one of George Formans sons. He has alot of sons, named George, thats why there is so much trouble with his grills to much time in the bedroom instead of in the shop, you get it right, i hope!! I would goggle his grille, or look on box for co. name and ask for help, thats all i have im afraid, my woman is calling me to get out of my garage, so George and i listen like good men !

It has an internal thermal fuse-a thermistor. It protects from high temps and power. If blown needs to be replaced. Usually crimped in to power line. Can be replaced. Just guessing but a common issue for no power to unit. Good luck.
