don't know what that code is, you say you changed out the coils,if the flame is liting but it takes to long to dry you must have a block somewhere, either in the vent line or in the duct where the lint filter slides down into, try removing the vent line and see if that helps, also if you haven't cleaned out the dryer and vent line in more than a year most likely this will be your problem.if the vent line is long you can stick a leaf blower into it and blow it out to the outside, first make sure nothing is blocking the outside hood where it vents out,i just found this problem last week there was a birds nest in the outside hood because the flapper didn't close, cleaned it out and it was fine, all a dryer does is move air,if there's a block in the vent line or dryer from lint buildup the heat won't stay on and it will take longer and longer to dry the clothes, also there's a cycling thermostat that could be bad,it's on the top of the blower wheel housing next to the thermal fuse.hope this helps

The top panel and the control panel need to be removed first before the front panel can be removed. Once the top panel is off, the screws attaching the control panel to the dryer cabinet are exposed. The screws securing the front panel to the dryer cabinet are exposed once the control panel is removed.

Disconnect power and remove the two screws attaching the top panel to the rear of the dryer.

Slide the top panel towards the rear to clear the screw head from the flange at the bottom side of the top panel then lift it from the unit.

Remove the screws securing the Heater PCB Assembly at the left side of the dryer cabinet then flip the assembly over and disconnect the black and the white connectors from the board.

Remove the four screws attaching the control panel to the dryer cabinet then rotate it down and remove it from the dryer.

Remove the two screws in the door area and the four screws from the top of the front panel and attaching it to the dryer cabinet.

Pull the front panel forward then disconnect the interior light harness.

Lift the front panel off the tabs across the bottom and remove it from the dryer.

Reassemble the dryer in reverse order of the disassembly steps.

Without the schematic all I can do is go by the general schematic the schematic should be located in the control panel anyway a broken belt will cause the tumbler not to rotate, a bad belt switch, probably not the problem, an open safety thermostat will stop power to the motor, a bad motor of course will cause the problem and lastly a bad relay on the control board will do it, remember I do this everyday so for a DIY it make pose a bit of a problem to know these part locations or how to disassemble the unit

could be dirty electrodes, find the two shiny metal strips in the dryer drum maybe in the front, so you will stick your head in the drum and look back at the lint filter to see them. Clean these with window cleaner and try again.

Could be your circuit breaker is bad, I had this problem awhile back. Or the thermistor could be bad. Easy enough to order parts and replace yourself to save money. Just google it for your type and model of dryer to get parts.

unplug it,remove the top panel screws in the back, remove the control panel and then you can remove the front.go here
you'll see number 14 and 15,you have to remove the 4 1/4 inch screws on the top and the two phillips screws that are behind the door.

When you say it runs for 8 - 10 seconds, do you mean it spins for that long or the flame is lit for that long?

Maytag Neptune... | Answered on Feb 05, 2013

That error is for the "Thermistor"
Check for resistance ( 50-300K Ohm) across thermistor.

If the resistance is out of tolerance, Replace the thermistor.

Here is a link to the part you need.
