Go to the intel site and download the drivers you need.

Try "DriverPacks solution" its free and It is great for Onboard Network, Audio and Video chipsets.

if this is a desktop/minitower, then there is a password reset jumper on the motherboard.
If it is a portable, then you will need to contact the tech support division of the manufacturer

It is cheaper and less hassle to just buy a replacement board. The reason is you have to consider why the chip failed in the first place- there is probably something else on the board that has failed as well.
