Intel d945gcz mobo cannot setup Winxp pro,
Have you tried going into BIOS Setup, and in Boot Options, change the first boot device to CDROM?
Do you have the Motherboard Manual for your Intel D945GCZ?
This is Intel Support, and the download page for the Motherboard Manual.
It is a PDF file.

Fan rpm prob
First you say it shuts down before Bios, than you say in Bios it shows fan rpms are 0000?
get on the internet and search for computer beep codes, but it sounds like the fan for the processor has quit working. One way to find out is to open the computer case, start it up, and see if the fans are working. If it is just a bad fan, than that is an easy and cheap fix.
Graphic problem
If the graphics card is bad, the only solution is to replace it. If you want us to analyze your problem on our computer, we will need (1) Name of manufacturer or Computer; (2) Name of the model and number; (3) the ID of the mother board; (4) Tell us in detail what happened with the failure, before the failure, during the failure and afterward. This way we can put together a mathematical module and duplicate your failures. Then we can give you instructions about the repairs that will be fact and not guesses. You can find great coooling solutions at places like tigerdirect.com or newegg.com. There are a large option of heatsinks & fans available for this board so it all depends on what you want to pay. Hope this helps.
Need Manual
Go to
www.intel.com. Click on support link. Lookup your specific board model #. You will be able to download the manual from there free of charge. Hope this helps.
Will this CPU be compatible with this MOBO?
Okay your Processor is not supported by your System Board. I will take some time and look to see what would be a good upgrade, but it may take a few days.

Replace jumper settings and restart the computer

I have a
card from a 386(not PCI-the older style) that I am trying to get to work with a
pentium. When I installed the card into the pentium unit, I couldn't even get
bios to boot. A friend of mine took off the jumper
connectors and now the pentium boots to windows, but windows doesn't know the card is there. I need this card for the serial port to use my serial mouse. This is the same card and mouse that ran fine on the 386, but I don't have any documentation on the card for Jumper settings. I think it's an IC card but there are no distinguishing markings on the card other than the
chipset#(Winbond W83757F9142NAAZ) and a serial#(S/N:8228906). It has pins to connect IDE/FDC/Game port. I've searched the Winbond website but haven't come up with anything on these numbers. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to find the jumper settings so that my serial mouse will work? I've attached a pic if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Intel motherboard
First,
here is a link which lists exactly what memory modules you can use in the motherboard you've specified (if that is the motherboard in question)..
Second, you should be able to determine how many banks are still empty with the case open. You'll probably want to check the existing ram mod(s) for a part/reference number, take that number and punch it into Google to find out the exact specs and MHz so that when you purchase the upgrade memory you won't be cross populating it with a different ram speed (I don't like to cross populate).
If you have more questions don't hesitate to ask...
Note: I am not affiliated with the vendor link I provided, it's for illustrative purposes only.
