The serial number is useless in trying to access the router. Because we live in a password-everything society, we often forget passwords. That is bad because as much as people would like to believe that someone will have the magic crack code, truth is, if that were the case, there would be no need for passwords since no one would be safe. The only way you are going to get inside that unit is to perform the factory reset on it...this will clear the password to the default value it had when new. This info is in the manual you got with the router. Unfortunately, all configuration and setup will be wiped as well , requiring you to fully set up your network again. There is no other way....unless you can somehow remember that forgotten password.

Try this one: Login to the IP address 192.168.2.1 with username: admin and password of 1234

Try 192.168.1.1 if that is the default IP address as indicated in the box.
also, make sure you are indeed connected to the network. For simplicity's sake, connect a straight thru cable the the router's port number 1 to your PC. and set the configuration there.

Also, make sure the PC's ip address is set to DHCP.

For your to access the router just open a browser then enter 192.168.10.1 on the address bar the look for the wireless settings page . you'll see there the SSID or Network name and the passphrase or the Network key that you need to connect the printer wirelessly.
And also if 192.168.10.1 wont work. try to get the default gateway of your ccomputer thats connect to your router. Just click on Start then go to RUN, enter CMD on the small dialog box on the lower left of your screen, Then on the black window type IPCONFIG. The defaulti gateway will be the address of your router input that on the address bar of your browser to access the router pa ge

You will get the default IP address for the router by following the instructions below.

1. Go to command prompt.
2. Type ipconfig and hit enter.

3. The address mentioned next to Default gateway is your Router IP address.

Note: Make sure that the router is connected to the computer using the Ethernet cable.

or Are you just setup your router?
Usually the address look like http://192.168.0.1/, from there you setup the route, and also usually is the mac address that is on the router specs in the box.

Must not have either read or understood the quick setup. You plug the computer into one of the 4 ports on the router and set your network address to whatever it told you to use either 192.168.0. something other than 0 or 1 or 192.168.2.something other than 0 or 1. That gets you to the web based setup and you follow instructions from there including how you set it up to access your modem. If it's a cable modem, you may be able to use DHCP, but you might have to have the cable company send a "hit" to clear the equipment it was looking for. In a DSL modem, you may have to set up PPTP stuff, which is in the instructions from the cable company.

Your wireless network must be secured
You will need to check the wireless settings of the router.
Is there any computer online using the router.
check the IP address on that computer.
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.

what you want to do is open your browser and in the address area type in your ip address default gateway if you dont know what this is it is visible through right clicking your connection icon in bottom right corner of screen and than clicking status or properties depending on what os you use after finding and typing that into your internet browsers address area you should be brought to a page with your routers config from here you want to look for security preferences or wep encryption and setup your password

You hook up with an Ethernet cable, you type in the "Address" of the router, in manual, login, using default name and password, in manual, once logged in toy can then run the "Wizard" this will help you connect. You need to know your Internet Account login and password. Once all setup you save and now you can use it. it is all explained in the manual. It is a few pages so it was not possible to post here.

what signal is low the sender or receiver???
I assume you have a wireless device thats receiving a low signal,ie wireless Laptop or wireless desktop or PS3 ,cellphone or Media Player

The spec for your unit will be on the manufacters site free to veiw

Im not sure what brand and make you have so to check
turn it over and check the model is on a sticker on the bottom,normally.

make sure all devices can see the signal send and receive
your could check all ip address on the wireless network too
making sure theyre on the same sub net as

depending on the model of the wireless and the operating system its being used with ie,networking home versus an internet cafe
average distance for a home is around 30 to 50 metres and this is depends on what he construction of the area its being used in.
wooden home or steel whare house may have interference issues that may be resolved easily by some good careful planning,installing in a good genral location to cover all areas intending on required coverage area.A good security function is essential in every network both public and private so be sure to take care there too,

You need to configure your router.
For that Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link.
http://192.168.0.1
or
http://192.168.1.1
If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it.
Then it ask for user name and password.
Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank.
Then you can see configuration page of router.
Click on WAN settings and then you can configure your router with your internet service provider settings.
But if you are not able to access it with above ip then you need to reset your router .You can RESET it with RESET button it is in back side of router press it for 10 seconds so all settings goes to defaults.
Then you can access it with above ip.Then you can change ip settings of router as your internet service provider.

It's definitely not your router. Make sure you don't have any addons installed such as AdBlock Plus. Also try switching browsers.

Are you having a modem that connects to a router, then from that router to another router? Well, you can't have a router's WAN as another router's LAN. It just doesn't work that way, you will need a switch for that. Or you can connect all of the computers to one route.

If you are only using one router, then have you try pushing the reset button on the back of that router? Or maybe you need the LAN drivers for your computer? If they are brand new, you shouldn't experience any problems, so you should return it instead.
