Try running the printer maintenance program. Clean the printhead. If it doesn't fix your problem, contact Kodak user support. They are very good about helping people with their products.

Go to Kodak's web site (here) and download the driver for your Operating System.

...and while you're on it: download the firmware as well (if you need to update it) and save a copy of the manual on your computer. That might come handy anytime...;-)

NEM, Are you logged in as root or administrator? You may want to start from scratch. Wireless is sensitive. Uninstall the printer and reset the bluetooth settings. Then reinstall. Make sure your speakers aren't to close to the printers...trans/rec window. Tim

My printer did the same thing and I followed the directions on this posting and my printer works just fine now.

Be sure the paper tray is full.  Though not a satisfactory solution, I've found the little steel tab that lifts the paper up to be grabbed by the roller just doesn't lift it far enough.  I keep the paper tray full.  Now I only have the problem if I let the tray get down to only one or two sheets.

To me it sounds like the rollers are shiney so may need cleaning

the beautiful thing about printer is that the software is preloaded in the hardware itself . simply meaning all you have to do is plug in your printer straight into the usb port of your computer. while the printer is on when that happens the computer will download the necessary driver to make sure the printer is functional! then you will also see a pop up to download their software . in that software is your salvation, for there while be a step by step tutorial on how to successfully install your new printer. Take the cartridge out and dab on wet paper towel and clean the print head with alcohol using a q-tip.Be sure to unplug the power first.

Replace cartridge, but, before run the print test (cartridge alignment as well as cartridge cleaning process).

Is it a non Kodak band?

To replace an ink cartridge on a Kodak ESP C310 follow these steps: 1) Make sure your printer is on. 2) Lift the printer access door, and wait for the carriage to move to a position where you can access it. The ink cartridges are located in the printhead. 3) Pinch the tab on the ink cartridge. 4) Lift the ink cartridge out of the printhead. 5) Remove the new ink cartridge from its bag. IMPORTANT:To prevent the printhead from drying out, insert the ink cartridge into the printhead immediately. 6) Remove the protective cap from the cartridge. 7) Insert the ink cartridge into the printhead. 8) Press down on the ink cartridge tab until you hear a click. 9) Close the printer access door.
