Kodak, and particularly the easyshare range have so many faults...... just look on this site for starters. bin it, (or sell it on Ebay for parts, lcd, lens, housing Ect.) and never buy another Kodak.

Free download computer software easyshare install

Kodak EasyShare is no longer available as a download. But you don't really need it, do you? The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

What size sd card will kodak c533 accept

The C533 will accept any SD card. SD cards max out at 2GB. Larger cards are actually SDHC cards and will not work in the C533. So, use cards up to 2GB.

KODAK SOFTWARE CORRUPTED ON MY COMPUTER WILL NOT DOWNLOAD PICTURES

You don't need any special software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. I am having kodak c533 for the past 5 years.

It is not worth repairing at such a cost as it is bettter that you can buy a newer model with an extra bit more. Also sometimes it is possible to get the spares freely from a repair store from a camera which was scrapped for a optical failure.
So until you get one for a cheaper cost the best option is to buy a newer model with better features. Some companies are taking old models for an exchange and this must also be checked .

The lens cover will not

The lens error is due to failure of the lens control system. You can remove battery and card replace battery and while switching on tap the lens hood on your hands so as to disengage any dirt or mechanism being struck.
Use some air to blow between the lens to dislodge any sand particles struck inside. Unless you are familiar with handling of small devices must the camera be opened. If so check the voltage on the motor drive, check the auto focus and Zoom drives, it must be free with manual movement. If jammed the motor can be removed and released. If none of these works then you can think of taking consensus with the service centre.
Get estimate before you decide. It will be good to have it checked at the authorised service as you do not have to run around for spares.

The C533 works with MMC and SD cards. Your new 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it is electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to use MMC or SD cards, 2GB and smaller.
