You can try a small amount of denatured alcohol around the button to see if it cleans up any residue that might be causing the problem. This camera has an internal storage capacity of 16.0 MB. That isn't much. But, it also has a slot for an SD memory card, which is capable of storing far more data than the camera's built-in memory. If you don't have one, go get a good quality, high-capacity SD card and install it in your camera according to the instructions. You should be able to store all kinds of pics and videos. But keep in mind that even the SD card has a limited amount of storage capacity, so you'll need to download the card to your computer now and again and re-initialize the card, or buy another when it gets full.

Hello, I assume you mean the battery door has been broken. You may find one on E-Bay as parts, type a search for "kodak Easyshare C143" and it should list all available items, scroll down and you will probably find one.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire).
