If you are not using your printer atleast once a week the inks will tend to dry out. you can replace the ink or try a simple test by taking a Q-tip with alcohol on it and rubbing it across the cartridges ink face. then place it back in and try to print something. If it works a little after the test sheet, the ink is too old or dried and needs replacing.

You need to purchase 36A, 37A Regular Cartridges from Lexmark.com website. These cartridges are refillable.

Lexmark Printers doesn't Support Refilled Cartridges, When a Lexmark Cartridge is refilled it automatically blows the Fuse out of the cartridge so that it will not be recognized by the Printer, Please a Genuine Lexmark Cartridge and let me know if you face the same problem!

Just connect the Printer using USB cable to the Computer once Connected. Please follow the below mentioned steps:
1. Click on the Start Button on the Keyboard.
2. Just type Add and go to the settings Options.
3. Click on the add device option.
Then Windows 8 will search your Printer and Install the driver which is required.

Unplug the Power Supply from the printer.......
Press and hold the Stop/Clear button on the Printer and Plug in the Power Supply while holding the Stop/Clear button it should say clearing on the screen at that point u can go ahead and release the Stop/Clear button..........
Now the Printer will ask for the Date Time and Country Language.
Set everything up.
Now try to use the Printer or try to send a fax it will work Fine.
