How to print fax log
try this
* Press Setup menu (setup button) on the printer.
* Go to the second option print Report.
* Select the 6th option Fax log. Press Ok.
* The fax log will print now.

Hello. Try to resolve the alignment problem first. That might resolve the print quality too. Here are some tips on what you can do to resolve the problem. Remove the cartridges from the printer. Close the cover of the printer without the cartridges. Unplug the printer from the power outlet. Leave it unplugged for now. Take a warm, damp paper towel. Set one ink cartridge on the paper towel like how it is placed in the printer - nozzles facing down. Drag the cartridge lightly across the paper towel in one direction (left to right) until the bottom of the cartridge looks clean. Do the same thing to the other cartridge. Plug the printer to power source. When printer asks for the cartridges, load them back in and properly secure them in its place. Close the cover. The printer may print an alignment page, just let it be. Hope this resolves your problem. Good luck!

Hi, it seems you got a connection problem. Here are some tips to check it:
1. Make sure the phone line in the wall is working. There should be a dial tone if you connect a regular phone device in that.
2. Check if the telephone cable that you're using is in good condition.
3. Telephone cable from the wall/splitter must be plugged in to the Line port behind the printer.
4. Make sure that it's the correct fax number assigned in the printer.
5. If all is ok but still having the error, try plugging the printer/fax straight to the wall jack bypassing the splitter.

Try Connecting the Lexmark All-in-One directly to the phone port...but make sure that Do NOT connect any phones to the EXT port.
Make sure the Fax receive mode is set to answer the fax after 3 rings. (Press the Fax button on the operator panel and then press Options three times until ANSWER FAX WHEN is displayed. Change the settings using the - or + buttons as appropriate.)

You may not see a paper jam.
This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you.
Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.
First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.
If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.
And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

I have had that problem before. What you need to do is uninstall all the Lexmark software and printer driver. Then go to Lexmark.com and download the latest driver and install it. That should take care of the scanning problem.

They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges
