Did you try different USB ports on the computer? Or a different computer?you may want to replace the printer drivers with ones downloaded from the Lexmark site. But before you install, completely delete the previous drivers.Does the printer self-test?Edit: If the printer does not self-test and does not scan from the printer's front panel controls, then it probably is a problem inside the printer. Remove the cartridges, carefully clean inside, check the complete paper path for jams or debris, reinstall the cartridges.
