Are the keys not working? These phones have a common problem with the keypad locking up. If so, the keyboard membrane would need to be replaced. Temperature and humidity effects this problem greatly. You could try putting the phone in a freezer for a few hours to see if you can temporarily get the buttons working to put your system back into day mode. You will still need to get the phone repaired.

How do I change the Time and Date on a Merlin Legend system?
To change either the Date or the Time on the Legend system, you must program it from the main System Programming console (MLX-20L). This will change the Time or Date on all the display phones throughout the system, except the ATL (Analog) display sets. These phones must be programmed on each individual set.
How to change the Date in the Legend system:
  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press System Program.
  3. Press Exit.
  4. Press System.
  5. Press Date.
  6. Enter date in following format: mmddyy (where MM is the month, DD is the day, and YY is the year).
  7. Press Enter.
  8. Press Exit.
  9. Press Home to exit programming mode.
How to change the Time in the Legend system:
  1. Press Menu.
  2. Press System Program.
  3. Press Exit
  4. Press System.
  5. Press Time.
  6. Enter the time in military/24 hour format: HH:MM (where HH is the hour, 01-24, and MM is minutes, 00-60).
  7. Press Enter.
  8. Press Exit
  9. Press Home to exit programming mode.

Hello,

Get to the Merlin Legend Mail module. The module is thin receiver box that contains several LED lights. The words "Voice Mail Ports" will be printed on the front of the module.

Locate the "VM Reset" button. The reset button is actually a small hole located slightly above the nine-pin serial port.

Insert the straightened paperclip or other straight object into the "VM Reset" port to press the button inside. The voicemail system will be reset.

Good luck.

hello,
i want you to go your phone setting, press the menu, scroll to profile, select the profile you are using and personalize it.
however, when personalizing scroll down to ringing type and select the ringing type you want.
if this does not work, open the phone, remove the ringer [the ringer is a small metal touching the panel of the phone, read it with meter, if it does not read, change it and replace it with a good one.

This is a symptom of a feature that has been activated. It could be the call is forwarded, it could be the voice mail is programmed to pick up on the 1st ring. On some systems ext's can be programmed to ring elsewhere after a set number of rings. The do not disturbe feature could be activated. If it is an outside line, call it from your cell and see what you get (voice mail-continious ring-another ext etc.) Find out if it does it on an in houes intercom call. Look for a DND button the phone...is it lit up? Does the display show calls forwarded or DND? Hope this helps. Good luck.

Did you see them in the manual? Post the page. A 20L doesn't have ringtones.
