To begin with, it could be a combination of many problems. As you discuss that the other person can't hear you, this usually indicates that there is a problem with microphone and needs replacement. Regarding, unable to dial more than 6 digits, it seems to be a circuitry problem and needs extensive inspection of the board. It is not a wise idea to get it repaired as the cost of repair may be higher equivalent to the cost of the product.It is better to look for a used set around $50 than to spent so many bucks and still, never a guarantee that it would work for few weeks or months. Yes, but make sure the settings have the Wireless headset aelected.
Normal 0 Also send this to your family and friends so they have their computer setup properly.
Web Camera’s have to be setup on the program they are to be used with. Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for the Audio and Video to function properly.

Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/) set it up as follows:

1. Go to Tools, then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
2. Then click on the Video Settings.
3. The camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
4. Then, on the bottom of the page click on Save.

The camera and audio should function properly. Your friends and Family will now be able to see and her to you.

push any four numbers, then push the bottom left code button one time and that will set up a new code for you. Then enter the new code and hit bottom right button to either arm or disarm the alarm.

I, too, have this model phone and love it. The headset battery barely lasted 9 months. I've been bumped around to many places including Thompson, Radio Shack, etc. I do believe Thompson (800-338-0376) has the battery for the HANDset, but they DO NOT have the battery for the headset. The HEADset battery is available through partstore.com (on the internet) (866-925-7278). This shipping document gives you the pricing info:

Nope, this is the only reference to the issue I have even found. We have another of the same phones here at work and we were trying to figure out if you can swap out the headest, but that doesn't seem to work either. On top of that, if you want to get the headset repaired, the manual says you have to ship the WHOLE UNIT. What a pain.
