We have a Ricoh Aficio

Hi there, You can just empty the waste toner bottle. here is what you need to do. Here is also a manual for your machine http://support.ricoh.com/bb_v1oi/html/oi/re/model/cl3500/cl3500en.htm Detailed instructions on cleaning the Waste toner bottle on Page 32 of the Maintenance Guide. Instead of replacing just empty it. Just be careful as the toner is toxic so you can also vacuum the toner out of the Waste Toner Bottle.

My Ricoh Printer Alficio CL

Hello,

You may need to get your fuser unit replaced. The only problem is, replacing parts on Laser printers can be costly and may or may not actually fix anything. It sounds like you have gone thru most of the motions needed to troubleshoot the unit, with new toner and PCU. I recommend bringing the unit to a repair shop. They will have parts on hand that they can use to test your unit. It might save you some money in the future, instead of buying new parts only to find nothing changed.

I HAVE A RICOH CL3500N,

You have answered your problem yourself. You say you have emptied it. This means there is used toner residue in the bottle and the sensor is seeing this and still presumes it is full. Thats why manufactuers say "Replace the bottle". Your best bet is to wash out the bottle and let it dry before putting it back in the machine and all should be well.

Do I have to dial 9-1 before the area code when

Hello, If you are in an office or corporate environment where the phone system is on a PBX you need to dial 9 usually to get outside the office. If you just have the unit setup at home or to an analog phone jack (not going thru a PBX) then just dial 1 + area code + number. If the number is local then don't use a 1, just the phone number and area code.

Replace black PCU ricoh aficio

To replace the black PCU:

- Turn the printer off.
- Open the cover on the right side (as you're looking at the front of the printer).
- There are two green levers, one toward the front of the printer and one toward the back -- pull these out and lift the cover that they're holding all the way up (it should stay in place).
- Remove the black PCU by pinching the green lever and sliding the unit straight out.

- Take the new PCU out of the box, take off the tape around it and remove the cover on top of the unit.
- Align the new PCU along the rails the same way the old one was aligned (using the green arrow) and slowly slide it in. As you slide it in it will slide out of the bottom cover -- throw that cover away.
- Lower the PCU cover and slide the levers into place.
- Close the side door.
- Turn the printer on.

Ricoh aficio Aficio 3224C used

On a 3224, the used toner bottle is easily replaceable. To get to it, open the front cover of the copier. In the lower left corner, you will see a white or light gray plastic container which slides straight out -- that is the used toner bottle. You can replace it (if you have a new one) by taking the old one out, putting the black plug in the hole to prevent toner from spilling, throwing it away, and inserting the new bottle. If you don't have a new used toner bottle, you can empty this one out into a large bag or trash can and then reinstall it.

All the lights are lite - toner cartridges, add

Try opening and then closing all of the doors to the device. If that doesn't resolve the issue I would try to power the device down completely for about 1 minute, and then turn it back on. This will usually reset any software problems that it is having.
Good Luck!
