Crickets, as with other insects, have compound eyes which do not contain pupils. You are going to be very disappointed if you are seeking a camera to photograph that which does not exist.

I would recommend you contact the manufacturer and speak to them as it sounds like a faulty unit, alternatively take it back to where you purchased the camera from and get a replacement.

If all you need to do is download your pictures, get a card reader.

Hi, if a program will not install, possibly it is for a few reasons check the following. Install as Administrator, maybe it needs to be installed in compatibility Mode for XP SP 2. Try installing it NOT into program Files, but to a DIR under the root. If a 64 bit system, make sure digital driver signing is turned OFF at Bootup, press F8, at boot time. Also try another copy, the one you have maybe corrupted.

Hi. We're you able to access the menu. if you were able to access the menu then it could be the white blance settings thats white the screen is white. If you were not able to see the menu then this could be a LCD problem.

you need the drivers for your window you are currently running try going to the website of the camera make and download the latest drivers for the windows you are now using i.e if xp you need that driver check if you have 32bit xp or 64 bit xp you need the correct driver email me or message me on msn [email protected]

maybe you should change the camera surrounding settings?

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES there is a solution if that is the r3 thing. There is a menu button and the menu button has four arrows around it right??? Yeah, well, press the arrow pointing west to change the flash's power. And if that doesnt work just press the up button instead and that should bring you to a menu or something where you can change what kind of picture the camera will take. At least, thats what i think...

I diagnosed this one. When I plugged in the AV cable the display was coming up on TV screen so figured it must be a power supply to the camera's display. Found a broken solder joint and fixed it!!
The camera is not worth spending money or time on repairs. Last time it stuffed out within guarantee time, it needed to go to Hong Kong and took 3 months to return.

This has happened to me a couple of times. It appeared when the camera was getting a lot of use and it wouldn't turn off - it was jammed on. I had to leave it a few minutes and not touch it - turn it off, then it was ok. I think it was overheated!

likely the easiest thing to try is to uninstall the caplio program.
go to start/setting/controlpanel/add remove programs
uninstall caplio program and then reboot.

plug in the camera and try navigating to it through my computer
if it works then reinstall the caplio program.

I have a Ricoh r3, but everytime i take a picture using the flash the pictures come dark.

You did insert a SD card? not a SDHC card. And before you did, you checked if the card was unlocked? (little switch on the left side should be up towards the golden contacts on the back side.

I don't know why this same question keeps coming up ? it has been answered.

If the marks do not show up on your photos then there is a problem with the LCD or circuit.
