if it's a vertical line in scanned pictures, it's probably a dust bunny on the scanner head, if it's only on printed pages, it's probably a dust bunny on or in the laser assembly or between the laser and the photosensitive drum. if cleaning doesn't get rid of it, you could have a defective scanner head or laser assembly, or a scratch on the photosensitive drum.

After the warming up machines wants the Date and time. first you press the stop button then enter 0101 followed by "enter" button. after one mints you machines display shows "ready 100%" if you are switch off the machines more than 7 hrs. again ask the date and time , then do the same steps above. if you wants to enter the correct date and time pls. enter the month as first , then date , then year. suppose you want to enter today's date like " 06012014" ok....

I have a samsung scx-4521f i am trying to copy some document but i cannot copy clean. my printer was copy in document black line or black paper ground what do i need to clean copy ? please help me.

I have similar problem, but it makes clicking sound also without a toner. And printer is powering off and on continuously. On the display there are some bars, nothing readable. After a minute or so it says Warming..., than it goes off, and so on and forth. Printer is in use on a daily basis.

There is probably a broken sensor on your printer. Try to open and close the cover some times it works.

Sounds like the Photo-conductor is going bad. If it's a separate part in your printer, you just might want to change it out. Otherwise it might also be built into the toner cart, and you'll need to get a replacement toner cart. Not usual but, i've seen a few bad toner carts. Hope this points you in the right direction.
