I can access single digit

Hi,

You need to be quick when you select double digit channels i.e press 3 then 2 quickly to access channel 32. Otherwise the equipment will only recognise the first digit that you pressed.

If this does not work then we need more specific information on what equipment you are using - TV make and model - Remote control make and model - are you using a cable box - make and model.

Thanks.

I bought a used samsung

Hello
Three digit universal remote codes to check with Samsung tV are:
004/ 005/ 009/ 015/ 104/ 105/ 106/ 109/ 133/ 172
Four digit codes are:
0105 0077 0076 0109 0007 0009 0004 0005 0085 0172 0942 0358 0012 0015 0080 0104 0106 Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
Code Search If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

My remoute control joust change

The remote's volume keys are "punch-thru" keys, meaning they'll work for the TV for which the
remote is programmed no matter what mode the remote is in. It seems your remote is not
in "TV mode," but the punch-thru keys (volume UP/DOWN) are working.
The Solution: change the remote from "AUX mode" or "DVD Mode" back to "TV mode", by
pressing the "TV" button at the top of the remote.

Either that, or your remote keypad has failed with the exception of the Volume UP/DOWN keys....
Also, your batteries may be failing, since it takes a tiny amount of energy to light
the IR (infra-red) LEDs at the front of the remote to change the volume.
Is your remote a "multi-function" remote?
Could help more if you could post your Samsung remote model number, since
www.samsungparts.com lists 37 pages of TV remotes (at 10 models per page).

Can I tune in my samsung 2-3 year old TV to an old

This would be easier to answer if you had included model numbers of both. Check the connectors on each and you should find color-coded connectors marked with matching inputs & outputs. You will need to connect the outputs of the VCR to the matching inputs of the TV. The signal coming from the VCR will, of course, be analog so you may need to set the TV on channel 3 or 4 and select the appropriate inputs of the TV via the main menu. It should state 'Analog.' If you are concerned about keeping stereo signals on the proper sides, red=right, white=left.

make sure nothing is damaged on the remote. after doing so unplug you're tv. when the tv is turned back use the remote close to the tv and use the remote. make sure the sensor on the tv is not blocked by anything (movies, books anything). if it still isn't working consider buying a replacement
