I record a some speech now i want to download
Once you connect to your computer it should appear as another driver if you checked in my computer. Once you see that drive, which will appear under a different name, for example if your hard disk appears as C drive, your cd driver appears as D or E drive then the mp3 player will appear as one character up, either F and so on. Right click or double click on it and browse the files there, your recording should be somewhere there. You can then copy and paste it on your computer, depending on whichever you want it to go to, say on your desktop or any other folders. Hope this helps, if you have any question please feel free to ask.Good luck.

I downloaded music on mines and now i cant find it
Hi!
Run anti virus. Connect your device to your pc and scan for virus. This might recover affected files.
Most usual virus attached with downloaded files activate on mp3 and mp4 and will hide all your files. The files will still be in there if you look for it as removable drive on your pc. It seems that folder where it was saves was in hidden mode.
I do suggest you reformat your player and download safe music files.]
Hope it helps

This is a known issue for this model. Apparently, there was a batch of this model that was sent out faulty. Apparently there is no fix for this issue. But you can try this:
- If
your Sansa m240 is currently frozen, please remove the battery (to
unfreeze it), then put it back in, and connect it to your Windows XP
computer.
- To
format the Sansa m240 on your PC, connect the Sansa m240 to your
computer on an USB port preferably located near the power hub or to an
external self powered USB hub, go to My Computer, single right click
on the Removable Disk associated with your Sansa m240, and select Format. Make sure that, under FILE SYSTEM, change FAT
to FAT32, and then single left click Start. This will erase all data
off the Sansa m240 and correct errors on it, which should make the Sansa
m240 usable again. Doing this will erase everything in the player.
If these fail, contact Sansa.
