Autofocus not working
Have you tried to see if you camera is running the latest firmware? If its not update it.
Nikon Teleconverter
You could probably use either a 1.4 x or a 2 x, depending on how much you wanted to increase the focal length of your lens. A 1.4 x would give you a range of 98-420, a 2 x would give you a range of 140-600.
Having said that, teleconverters are not usually recommended for use with zoom lenses, and you would lose one stop with the 1.4 x, two stops with the 2 x, thus necessitating longer exposures. Also, with the increase in focal length comes an increased probability of camera shake being more apparent, due to the increased magnification. In your position, I would attempt to get closer to the subject, using a teleconverter as a last resort if this is not possible.
My Nikon D3200 says shutter error can I fix this issue myself?
hi,
did you charge your battery full ? if the battery is not charged enough, it will not drive the shutter opener motor perfectly, and if any type of dirt or friction on the shutter drive gears this will happen, please check the shutter movement by removing the lens.
How do I change the format of my downloaded pix from NEF to JPEG?
I use GIMP 2, a free open source editor that is very sophisticated.
I think I had to install an add-on so that it would read NEF files. Gimp converts all files that are edited in it to its own "xtg" file extensions. After I finish editing, I save the picture in the "xtg" file extension then I import it in "jpg" format to the same folder where the original NEF along with the XTG formats are stored. During the editing process, I usually scale the image if I plan to send it somewhere on the web.
I think a lot of other editors have a similar function, especially if the proper codecs are installed.
In addition, in the past I have used conversion programs to do the same thing but it's been a long time. Do a web search for NEF converters and you may come up with a free program or two that will allow you to make the conversion without editing the picture.
Why commlite macro extension tube does not work with d5100
Not sure, but if you shoot in manual mode and use manual focus the camera should still take photos. Kind of defeats the purpose of spending money on auto focus ones though. Try to turn the top dial on the camer to M (manual) see what happens?
I could not find the orginal outlet port that came with the camera and I made the mistake of plugging the cord into my iPhone's usb-to-outlet port. Now my camera does not turn on at all. I kn
If you managed to press the lightening cable form a iPhone 5(s) or 6 into the camera's mini USB connector, you must have broken the connector. I wonder if a repair is worth paying for, because the D60 is not that expensive second hand and a repair could cost over 200 dollar.
If you pressed the plug into the connector, some plastic parts must have come out, making it possible the metal contacts created a shortage. (Your battery will be empty by now) I can't advice you to do what to do, but I can describe what I would try if I had the same problem. First I would remove the battery, because some USB contacts could be connected to the battery. Don't make a shortage while the battery is still in.
Under a loupe with a bright light, I would try to pull out the plastic from the connector. Then check if and where a shortage is. I would try to undo the shortage and isolate the pins. Only then I would try to switch on the camera again, knowing I never could use the USB port again. If the camera would again switch on, I would again switch it off and remove the battery. Then taking care I would isolate all contacts forever, perhaps with some 2 component glue. Carfull not to connect points again. For transferring pictures I should use an external memory card reader and keeping the USB port closed forever.
It is a pity I don't have the D60 manual, because in the D50 the side where the USB connector is, is easy to remove, so you could even remove the connector from the camera, or disconnect it from the circuit board.
Everything hypothetical and don't blame me, if your camera never will work again.
I checked on iFixit, but they did not started a repair guide yet.

How to connect the ML-L3 to D810
It is a wireless remote, compatible with the enthusiastic DSLR cameras from Nikon, up to the D750. Sorry, but the D800 and up, need a remote connected to the 10 pol connector on the front.
The D810 does not even have a IR receiver for the remote and no setting for it.
FEE message using Quantaray for Nikon lens
Turn the aperture ring on the lens to its smallest setting (largest f/number). You can control the aperture from the camera body, the same way as on a lens without an aperture ring.
Control board short circuit
Why do you think you have a short on the control board? If that is in fact the case, you need to take your camera in for repair. This is not a do it yourself job.
NIKON MH26 BATTERY CHARGER BLINKING GREEN LIGHTS
A blinking green light means the charger is charging the battery. A steady green light (same LED) means that charging is complete. If the light never stops blinking and we assume that your charger is working correctly, you may have a defective battery. Rechargeable batteries do not last forever. After a few years, there ability to take and hold a charge declines. It may be time to buy a new battery.
