It seems like the fuse has blown on the power board inside the tv, to get at it you will have to remove the back cover, the power board should have a fuse on it somwhere have a route around and you will find it, pop it out of the fuse holder and take it to your local electrical appliance store and they should be able to get one for you, they are only cheap.

it has a problem in the power supply it is the common problem of the lcd try check the power supply you might see a visible defective parts then try to replace it

First, look at the screen in darkened room to see if you can see any slight glow from the screen, if it does, then the problem can be the T-CON (not getting the 12vdc) or the main logic board not feeding the signals to the T-CON board. if not, next place to check will be the power supply module, make sure it has 24vdc which is required by the backlight inverter to work, the reason for not having 24vdc can be from bad DC filter caps (leaking/bulging top, high ESR) or short circuits in the inverter board which will cause the 24vdc supply to go into shutdown mode, so you may have to disconnect the power cable that feed the inverter board to see if the 24vdc will work without the inverter board hookup, you will need to apply about 3~4 amp of load to the 24vdc to make sure it can handle that. There are fuses on the backlight inverter boards also. So there is some troubleshooting you will have to do to find out the causes of the problem you are having. Check the Pico fuses fromthe power supply to the main board, the convergence board. trace using the power output from the power supply. if you notice any suspected components visibly showing out a fault like a capacitor or a burnt resistor, check it out and replace.
Check for possible dry solder joints or failure of the IC.
Remove plug off while checking and test by tapping board for any loose connection.

Hi,
I need following info to diagnose possible cause of problem.
Does power indicator lit or blink when tv plugged in power socket?
Is it Soyo DYLT032D lcd tv or any other model?
How old is this tv and how long it started no power problem?

Testing remote control:
The remote control puts out IR (InfraRed) signal that human eyes cannot see, to find out if the remote is sending out the signal or not you just point the remote at the digital camera’s Lens (Digital Camera can detect IR), you should see flashing light on the camera’s screen when any one of the remote button is pushed. If you do see the flashing on the camera, then the problem is in the TV IR receiver or the main logic board; more troubleshooting with scope will be needed to look at the signals.

Hi,from your problem it can be concluded that the problem is from the control panel,as a result of this all the controls of this unit will fail to function.

The correct solution is to replace the whole control panel which holds this control,you can purchase the control panel from www.retrevo.com or www.evertek.com

i have a 37 inch also and had the same problem if i unpluged it it would turn on. some suggested that i leave it unplugged and than try it i did and now all i have is a blinking red light and it won't turn on at all , what do i do

You can still fix that remote, take off the batteries, open the back of your remote control, lift the circuit board, clean the part that is painted green with cotton ball slightly damp with rubbing alcohol and clean the black thingy at the back of your remote pad as well, let dry put it back together and try if it works.

Tries take the remotes aparts.Take some Q tips soak it with some rubbing alchahols.Clean the PCB circuits board and the rubbers films between them might help,could work after do the cleaning.Not,than sorry ur remotes CPU probally it shorted and dead.That why the remotes not functioning any more.

Common short the cover cap over the video & sound boards short out if you remove it the cap only (shield metal) it usually will fix this
