First you need to find out if the compressor is kicking on or not. If it isn't then it could be the starting capacitor (item 23), start relay (item 7) or the compressor itself. Does the skybox make noise (like your refrigerator starting a cycle)? If not, I would unplug it for a short while and let it set. Then when you plug it back up listen for noises on whether the compressor kicks on or not. If it doesn't then you can check the cap and relay board. Or have your compressor checked for operation and freon.

If you can easily remove the burnt out bulbs, take them to Radio Shack, they may be able to match them up to something they have. If you know the specifics of the bulb (base type/voltage etc) you can go to digikey dot com or mouser dot com, both sites are very large electronics distributors.

Have you tried cleaning it underneath?

Unplug it and from the back and underneath get all the dust and debris out. When it's clear, leave it on number 3 for 6 to 8 hours and see what happens.

Sounds like a faulty compressor or a faulty starter.

On these units the compressor switches on and off. The fan runs constantly to maintain and even temperature for the contents. It is always powered by the main board from connector J2 with 12VDC.

You did nothing wrong the unit is operating normally. I would be a bit weary about using 2 fans as the Main board PCB transformer may overheat and burn out trying to produce enough power to run 2 fans over an extended time. Most PCBs are capable of providing the needed power for all circuitry but no extras...

The air flow from the fan should be blowing toward the evaporator coils and not away from them. Seems in 2004 they figured out some of these were assembled incorrectly. See this bulletin: http://www.servicematters.com/maytag_library/docs/TDR-0041-S.pdf

You don't need to keep the round metal piece or the black wire that you take. The replacement part (flat one) is installed in its place. Put it in first, attach the green wire to it, and then put the two prong piece and install the wires (blue, white and brown) as you took them off the original part.

There is a little sensor board in the door where the flapper door is,you can access it when the door is open.That is what tells the main control that the can has fallen down through the door and the door has closed.

Chick, you may want to take a look at 'Solution 1' on this FixYa thread for the part number you're looking for.
Not sure if you're having the same issue I was with my Skybox (unit stopped getting cold, compressor would attempt to click on for 8-10 seconds, then click off), but I just followed steps from the video krause28 provided on 'Solution 9' of this FixYa thread and I'm up and running.
Just completed it today and it's working now, so I don't have any long-term results yet, but hopefully that does it.
