Toshiba (K000016310) Cooling Fan Questions & Answers
System warning pop-up
Are you sure that nothing is overheating? If your cpu fan is turning too slow it won't disipate the heat. Do you have a program showing cpu temp:? I would take the access off the bottom and make sure the cpu fan is clean. If that is not the problem I believe you can turn the warnings off in the bios settings

Hi,
Contact Toshiba, they will tell you where in Australia you can get the fan replaced, and if it is covered by the varenty.

My fan is Intermittently offf
Dear zidane_is_th
No there is nothing wrong with it. It is reacting to the heat build up in your PC. When it senses the temperature rise it will kick the fans on to help it cool down.
Just be sure and keep your vents from being covered so as not to hinder the fans when it needs to cool down. Overheating is the No.1 cause of failure in Laptops.
Like random shutdowns.
Hope this helps if it did just click the thumbs up

The cooling fan does not spin.
If that is the only thing that isn't working then the fan itself might just need to be replaced, if you take the make and model of the pc to any computer repair shop they should be able to get you a replacement fan for not much of a cost. They are really easy to change too, fyi.

Toshiba 405d. should the fan noise be very
Well if you are a heavy user the answer is yes. However if its too loud the thermal grease that resides between the heatsink and the processor might be a bit dry and you may have to put fresh grease there.
Good Luck

Switches off for no reason
The fans themselves may need to be replaced or the thermal grease on the processor may need to be reapplied. What you are describing is caused by something getting to hot and then shutting the machine down to prevent damage.

Laptop shuts down after 15 min of web surfing
If you are able to check and make sure 100% that it's not working, you have 2 choices:
If it's under warranty I'd send it in to get looked at. Having all your cooling fans working, especially in a laptop, it very important.
If the laptop is not under warranty, you can purchase replacement fans from the manufacturer's website or even Ebay if you know what you are looking for. Depending on how familiar you are with your laptop, you may just want to take it in to a pc repair shop to get it fixed, because taking a laptop apart to fix anything at all can be a very daunting task, and things can go wrong very easily if you don't know what you are doing.

Toshiba cooling system
If u have a laptop (that's what i found out that toshiba Qosmio is ) then is no problem that the fans stop (as long as the temp. is within the normal working margins ). U might have a setting problem - a bad software, managing the cooling system; - a bad BIOS setting regarding system temperature protection; - or the temperature detectors malfunctions, and must be changed (if possible)

Toshiba washing machine model AW-DK1700WMM has turn on, beeps with error code EL then shut down within 5 seconds, how can I slove this problem?
To fix the EL error code:
* Make sure the door is completely closed and latched securely. A loose or broken latch can cause the error.
*Examine the door lock for any damage, dirt, or debris that could prevent it from working properly. Clean the area thoroughly.
* Turn off the washing machine, then unplug it for a few minutes. Plug it back in and restart it. This may resolve communication issues that trigger the error.
* Examine the wiring connections between the door lock system and the control panel. Faulty connections, such as loose or damaged wires, can disrupt communication and lead to the error message.

How to fix tablet toshiba wt8-a
Ensure the cd rom is empty and the bios is set to boot from drive C first, then drive D.
If all in order and it still doesn't boot, try a system disc in the cd rom.
