Hi Rafael,First of all thank you for posting your question here at Fixya. Please confirm if the brand and model number above is correct.Blinking of the the LED (yellow and blue) at the front panel indicating that the lamp door cover is not seated properly. This cover will engaged to a micro switch giving the signal to the processor, once it is in open position, the unit will not power up and will experienced that kind of blinking error code. Go back to the lamp door cover and ensure that it is properly seat-in.3D, 2D, red/green/blue ghost on the picture and letters means that the convergence circuitry gone bad. Symptoms is not connected to the light engine. The faulty parts is the convergence chips(IC). This chips are mounted on the large aluminum heat sink and starts with STKXXXX-XX (X means number). The most common STK chips used on Projection TV's is the STK392-110. You have to replaced them both on the board to resolve the issue(red ghosting). It is necessary also to check the resistance value of the resistors around its circuitry using the multimeter. For more info how to repair a convergence problem, watch the video below.Jdvillanueva

The color wheel was improperly installed so it's misaligned or it jams on the white sector, the entire install procedure will have to be redone.

If you have a warranty on it, you should be able to have it replaced for free. Otherwise light engines start at 400 dollars.

This is an error code that means your TV's light bulb needs changing. You can buy light bulbs for your TV online or at your nearest TV retailer or TV repair shop. Cost is about $20.00 for a new bulb.

Projection TV sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the TV menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.

Convergence problems are very common on all Projection TV sets including Sony, Samsung, JVC, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Akai, Pioneer, Hitachi, Zenith, and others. You can get a convergenece repair kit from the link below.

Common Symptoms include....
  • Screen looks 3D
  • Colors don't line up
  • One or more colors can't be adjusted when using the convergence menu.
  • Screen is bowed or warped.
  • TV shuts off after powering on - TV may also make a chirping noise.
Here are some photos of convergence problems.

Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the settings menu then goto the convergence section.

Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.

You should be able to move RED and BLUE in all directions - up, down, left, and right.

If you can't move them in all directions or cant move them far enough your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

Note: If you TV has as flash focus or magic focus button only try pressing the button. If it fails to fix the convergence your need to fix it. See below for a solution

You will need to replace the convergence chips and possibly some convergence resistors and pico fuses.
This is a a fairly easy DIY job if you know what you are doing. If you have never done this before we would advise calling a shop or if you want to do it yourself get a complete kit with instructions and support from www.TvRepairKits.com

Hello
Im having problems with my 62mx195.
The I have a good picture but i have shadows next to or on certain objects. It occurs over the whole screen at different scenes of show. There are blue shadows that pop up intermittently. I have tried hooking up different DVD players to the TV to see if there is a difference, but nothing. It seems minor but it annoying as hell. I hope it is not an Light Engine.

Much more serious I am sorry to say, its either the video engine or in moving you have dislodeged a cable on one of ther boards. If the latter did happen it is a matter of taking back off and pushing cables back on firmly, However, i would lay a bet it's the video engine that has gone pearshape!
repairs cost.. about 150-200 dollars
Thanks for uisng FIXYA

Your Tv power supply is in protection, this means it wont start up, could be static. Rather take this to a Service Centre to check, If you have insurance claim it under the section travel/moving goods etc

How old is the TV? Does it have a marketplace of apps that came preloaded? Is there a search button in that screen? If so search for the app, you can also search for Amazon prime Video App that comes with Hulu.
