The protector circuit is keeping the high voltage from turning on. It is probably not worth fixing.

Sounds like the hard drive may be going on your Tivo. Seeing that the hard drives in tivo units are constantly working: buffering incoming live tv data, writing your season passes, playing back recorded programs and erasing old unwanted programs, the hard drives used in tivos are bound to develop bad sectors or corrupt data at some point in time. Whether it be freezing, pixellization, random reboots, or everyone's favorite GSOD (Green Screen of Death), your tivo has many ways of letting you know your hard drive may be in jeopardy.
So for those of you who have the time and technical prowess, here's how to find out if your drive has kicked the bucket and if all of your episodes of Battlestar Galactica have been lost with no chance of recovery.

I have a toshiba tv and it will not turn on. There is a flashing green light that comes on, but there is no picture or sound.

toshiba often utilizes the green lamp for off, and the red lamp for on.

u can leave it on. as long as it has the power plugged to it the hard drive will remain running. it works just like a computer when a it goes on sleep mode

unplug power. hold the eject button while plugging in the power cable

You need a manual convergence youd have to open it up clean the color guns properly and throuroughly and manually adjust the color guns to the proper setting. maybe even any mirrors for deflection if any.

It sounds like your approaching the end of your lamp's life. Most projection televisions have internal lamp timers. These lamp timers usually give you time to buy a new bulb before it needs to be replaced.

We finally had a repair man out and he replaced 2 convergence IC. They were $80 each so get out the check book! Works fine now!

Serial numbers don't work Judy https://www.google.com/search?q=A10A13799C3300 They are purely a numerical identifier of when it was made, year, day, number on the shift, whether it Joe or Billy who did final inspection. With a MODEL number I can find them easily with just 'make model manual'.
