Need to add password

Set it in the router and don't give it out to anyone who could share it with someone else. A way of giving it out at all, is entering it yourself to others devices.

Cannot get in 102.168.10.1

what is 192.168.10.1? I think the default ip fot that router is 192.168.1.1 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 which means any ip in the network should be 192.168.1.XXX.... which means 192.168.10.1 is not a valid ip and should not be reachable

Http 192 168

I would 1st ensure that you are connected directly to the router with a LAN cable and NOT wireless. If this does not help then you may need to reboot the router and restore factory settings. This can usually be done by inserting a pin or paper clip into the reset hole and pressing the tiny reset button. You will then need to enter the default username and password to access the setup menu. The default details can typically be found on the sticker on the base of the router.

I cant browse this link http://192.168.10.1

The problem may be with the proxy server through which you are trying to access that particular address. Admin might have to verify the accessibility of the address.

Most routers have a default address on a local network of 192.168.1.1. Try connecting to that first.

Thank you for using FixYa

You may be fighting an internet connection slowdown or shut down. The modem is looking for that connection and if it falls below a certain speed it shuts off. You might contact your ISP first and see if they are having issue in your area, and you can also test your speed at Speedtest.net. If t he internet is good ,then the modem may be bad and last resort, replace it.

I hope this was useful and please comment if this was helpful to you.

Error 103

This may or may not be of help, but this is easy enough to try....

Power off computer, cable modem, and router.

Connect router to cable modem via WAN port, PC to router via LAN port

Power up cable mode first, wait until for connection light

Power up the router, wait about a minute

Power up the PC

I have Cablevision and have had an issue when you are going to connect a different device directly to the cable modem (eg router instead of PC), you need to reset the cable modem first or it will not work.

The following link shows you how to log directly into the router and run the setup Wizard from the router.

I cannot find my pin

! In your browser write in 192.168.1.1. If theres an option for Configuration Pages, click on that. If it asks you for a username and password they're most likely to be

USERNAME: Admin
PASSWORD: Admin

Look for a system information setting. In that information there should be something about a WEP or a WPA key. It should tell you the key there.

I cannot access to the

http://192,168.10.1<-- there is a comma in your IP address, if you are doing this on your web browser you will not access anything.

I assume this address is for the configuration page for your router? A quick way to find the proper address for your router (if you are physically connected) is to run "ipconfig" in a command prompt window and use the "DEFAULT GATEWAY" address.

When I enter http://192.168.10.1 for the log in

you are possibly not using the correct information to log into the router.
***************************************************************************
Please verify your hardware and TCP/IP settings again by following the instructions in sections 2-3, make sure the Power, Wan, WLAN,and the LAN lights on the AP/Router's front panel are on, and verify that TCP/IP configuration is correct. Then, try accessing 192.168.1.1 again using the web browser.
