How do I replace the bottom oven element on my Maytag CWE5800?
This shouldn't be too difficult. Make sure the power is off. Remove the screws that hold the oven element in place. carefully pull the element out from the back wall without losing the wires back in the holes. Install the wire on the new element push it back in the wall. Reinstall the screws and you are set. Turn the power back on and check to make sure the oven cycles when it reaches the set temperature.

Hello - I have a
Check the oven temp sensor.
Inside the oven sticking out of the back wall is a metal rod it is the oven temp sensor.
You can do this. Unplug the stove. It is held with two screws inside the oven. Pull the stove out remove the lower back panel to undo the connector and check the Sensor. If sensor is faulty, then it will not let the broil function to start or heat. But if that checks out, ok, then it can be problem with touch pad panel. Its got faulty and getting short. So the oven starts and trips inside and timer resets and shows time.------
You can get
required parts from from online sites like:
--- www.repairclinic.com or from searspartsdirect online site. --------- This
should help.Check out.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.
