Xerox Phaser 7400DN keeps rejecting jobs I send

It's hard to set up the mpt tray when the display is out. Send the job to the printer with no paper in the mpt. The printer should then ask you to put 11 x 17 in the mpt. Hope that helps.

Why is my Phaser 7400 printing a solid pink page? The Transfer unit is half pink. Is this why?

This may be a high voltage problem.
Am not familiar with this machine but is a generic fault.
Ensure contacts to drum/cartridge are clean.
Next
If possible, unplug machine, open up and ensure all high voltage connections are good.
Good luck.

I have tried using a new fuse to cause an imaging unit to reset on a Phaser 7400 but the fuse will not blow.

If the unit is remanufactured or if you know how, you will have to disassembly the imaging unit and replace the fuser that blowns or simply just solder it. http://www.uninetimaging.com/downloads/technical/xerox/english/Xerox_Phaser_7400_Reman_Eng.pdf Graphic 27.

Solution : Power OFF the Printer, Wait 10 Seconds, Then Power ON
  1. Press the power switch, located on the left side of the printer, to the OFF (O) position

  2. Make sure the printer remains powered OFF for at least 10 seconds.
  3. Press the power switch to the ON (') position.
Solution : Remove Additional RAM (Memory) CAUTION: Circuit boards and modules are electrostatic discharge (ESD)-sensitive components. These components are designed to be protected from damage due to ESD during normal operation; however, proper static control precautions should be followed to prevent damage while handling these components.
Power OFF the printer and remove any RAM DIMM that was not originally installed in the printer. After the additional memory has been removed, power ON the printer. If the printer returns to normal operation after the memory DIMM has been removed, replace the DIMM.
NOTE: Third party memory is not supported. There are no hardware or software modifications to ensure third party memory will be compatible with the printer. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/joe_8b8c2cd6ce148309

We have a Xerox Phaser

start a print from tray 1/manual feed and just as the trailing edge of paper is entering the machine; quickly open it to stop print and take out the cartridge and look at it's drum and the paper underneath. If the issue is there at that point then it would point to loose toner residue underneath the cartridge. if not then the fuser area has to be cleaned. Wipe the area clean with a lint free cloth, do not use compressed air.....

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

I have Xerox Phaser 7400 with an error 928 we

Error 928 refers to the fuser motor failing. Problem could be with fuser motor, motor drive board or engine board.
One other possible cause would be if you are sending too thick a card stock through the machine, this can cause drag on the fuser which the machine interprets as a motor failure.
Hope this helps.
