Hello Friends!

I think problem in router table. Your default route set to internet not to LAN. In this situation best solution for you is set up Static IP for your LAN connection, if your netadmin not monster.

Zoom 3G router. I have a pin on my 3G modem - how

A Pin...this means that when you first connect you are sent to a special site, and you have to enter a pin on a web page? Or you have to have a special app to enter it?
Disable it, and use WPA security with a good (decent length, not dictionary based) pass phrase. Is the wire to your modem the insecure piece? Or the Wi-Fi that is accessible to someone in the adjacent street?
Unless your circumstances are odd, the wire to your modem is as secure as the interior of your home, while the wi-fi need to be well locked down. WPA2 with a good passphrase is as good as it gets. Well, using actual wires is faster, more secure and more reliable. But WPA or WPA2 is fairly good (WEP is fairly useless, it has been thoroughly cracked now and can be hacked with the right toolkit in a minute or two).

Zoom X6 wireless router

Hi, With or without the firmware update, the wireless should work and be indicated with the WLAN led. Have you done an update? Have you tried a hard reset? Most routers would require a reset to default after a firmware update. Pls be reminded that when you do a hard reset, all configuration would be lost, better log them down or do a backup. Alternately, you can check your router's web based configuration manager, apparently, there is an enable/disable feature/selection for the WLAN. Verify that is set to enable. Hope this be of help/idea. Post back how things turned out or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.

Have forgotten the network security key and want

First of all, try the router serial number as the key (I do this so you can't forget it).
If that doesn't work you could log into the router and see if you can see it there.
If that doesn't work then do a factory reset then set up the network key using the serial number.

Hi i need a replacement ac power adapter for the

You might be able to find one on ebay. Do a search for your router model.
Otherwise you will be able to find a multi voltage adapter at an electronics store. They normaly do several different voltages and a selector on the top is used to select which one to use. Make sure the new power supply can provide the same or more amps that the old one. The voltage must be the same. Take the old one in to the store with you and the sales person will know what you need. They come with various shape plugs and one of them will probably fit your router unless it is really weid. The only other thing is to make sure you get the + and the - around the right way.

Something like this maybe

Good luck

Cannot connect to internet via lan but can connect

first need to know if the LAN has an IPsetup manually (static IP) if it's set static set it to obtain an IP automatic. If it's already set to obtain an IP automatic, try to reset the winsock and see if that will fix the problem, search google how to do that on DOS. if that did nottry to set the LAN card to work on 10mbps or 10 half duplex mode. if this won't work then the lan card might be bad.
