hi mag_dan,

your mp3 player may only support sound files of the wma, mp3 and wav format, therefore the audio book files should be tranferred/converted into one of these these formats.

try using the software provided here to do it:
http://www.nch.com.au/switch/

and then send the converted files to your player and enjoy listening!

Hi numisis2008
Sorry, but your player does not play movies...it only uses MP1, MP2, MP3, or WMA formats which is only for audio.
Go to the following webpage and download you Trio user guide.
Inside it will tell you all about your player and what formats to use.
Please take time to rate me

For some reasons, trios **** at charging. Your trio probably isn't charging at all for some reason, like mine won't right now. I think they might be pieces of ****!

Formatting means CLEARING OFF the memory FULLY as it is full clean up which cannot be restored.
so if you have formatted the memory then the chances to get your music back is too slim.
Not to worrry all the required music can be downloaded but it is another long job to do,!!
Good Luck,

There is a trick to charging the battery in these small mp3 players. It wont charge if it is turned on, and it won't charges if it's turned off. Here what to do...
1. plug the payer into your USB port. or wall charger
2. switch thje palyer on using the mechanical switch (on the side)
3. turn it off by either holding down the play button, or selecting "System" from the menu
4. The screen will go black and the battery will begin charging.

Welcome to Fixya

Hi. Deleting those stuff wont do harm to the MP3 player. Because the procdeure on how to restore the MP3 player to factory state is by doing a drive format. Formatting the drive will delete everything inside the mp3 palyer. Please see documentation for this player.

Thank you for using Fixya!

Hi. Itunes is a piece of software made by Apple. Since Apple has released its music players such as the Ipod Shuffle, Nano and Touch as well as with the Iphone and Ipad, the software has been only made to function with those products. Sorry but you won't be able to use Itunes for your Trio MP3 player.

Try and connect the player to another PC, if this detects then scan and check for virus, clean out the files, format if necessary and reload with clean files.
However if the player does not load into any PC then try and RESET, if this wont work there are errors in the memory.

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I WENT UNDER WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER AND PULLED UP MY MUSIC LIBRARY, OR IN OTHER WORDS, SONGS I ALREADY HAD DOWNLOADED AND SAVED TO MY COMPUTER. THEN I WAS ABLE TO DRAG TRACKS OVER TO THE RIGHT HAND SIDE AND CLICK ON "SYNC". THEN THEN SONGS UPLOADED TO THE TRIO PLAYER. HOPE THIS HELPS!

Press the MODE button to enter "Music Mode". Press the MODE button again and highlight "Local Folder". Keep pressing the MODE button until you reach the album titles and then press the PREVIOUS button and then press the MODE button again. This will bring you to the root directory of your music files. Remember that if you pause too long before pressing the MODE button, it will return you to the first song that appeared when you first entered "Music Mode" and you will have to start over. Once you get to the route directory, press the NEXT or PREVIOUS buttons until you highlight the artist you want to listen to. Press the MODE button again and repeat the last method to select the album and song you want to listen to. Good Luck!!! This is not a user friendly device and even with the instruction manual it took me a while to figure out. I hope this helps.
