FujiPlus FP-7688B 17" LCD Monitor Questions & Answers
No sound
I will assume you have checked the cables etc to make sure they are not bad in any way and skip to the more usual problems
Make sure they are powered up and the volume is about half way if they have a separate volume control. (not all flat monitor do)
First check that they were not MUTED by accident. A red line through the speaker icon would indicate this and you would just need to untick the MUTE box.
If its not as simple as that then carry om below.
OK now you need to call up ether the sound card application or preferably the windows volume control from the bottom tool bar.
Click Open Volume Control.
A box with sliders in should appear. make sure that volume control, wave, sw synth, aux, cd player, line in are all about half way and that none of them have ticks in the box at the bottom.
If any of those are missing click options then properties from the top left and put a tick besides any that were missing (nothing else)
Now close the slider box.
Put a normal music CD in your CD/DVD player on the computer and set it to play with windows media player.
You should now have sound out of the speakers.
If all went well you are running but if not you know just may want to check the hardware properties and should there be an exclamation mark against any of the sound hardware you know where the problem is.
This can in most cases be fixed with an updated driver for your sound card.

Speaker wire for fuji FP 7688B
You'll be looking for a 3.5mm Stereo cable. They usually come with green or black jacks on the cable. Where monitor speakers to computer connections are concerned, you'll need the "male to male" version of the cable.
Here's an example:

I had a secondary disk
The disk is finished. The only way you will get the info off it is to put it in a freezer bag and leave it in your fridge for 24 hours. Refit it into the pc and hopefully it will fire up just once to get the data off it. If that does not work then it will need to go to a data recovery company who will remove the disk and get the data off it. It will cost hundreds of pounds to do this though. The word "Backup" comes to mind!!!!
On powering up the front
Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty
One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive
Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA
the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error
hope this will help

I didn't know I wasn't supposed to plug my Fujitsu
The only thing that happens when you unplug it without using the safety eject hardware option is that it could be in the middle of downloading information. If ejected before thats finished you may not have everything you meant to keep. If your not in the middle of saving something to that drive, just go ahead and remove it - just this one time - without using the safety eject option. I would not suggest doing this all the time as you might compromise the data saved on the drive.
