My Go Video dv2150 won't play my dvd's recorded on

Some DVD recorders / players work on different format disks
Some will only work with R+ (or RW+) Others will only work with R- (or RW-) some will work with both + and - formats. Check your user manuals for both machines - they may not be compatible at all.

I need to know to to install the dvd into a dish

The DVD does not go into the dish box, but rather it connects to a second input on your TV. To access it you toggle the INPUT setting on the TV.

I have a go video

Have you tried turning off the unit, the press and hold the power button for 10 full seconds. Then press and hold the eject button for 5 seconds. Keep pressing the button while powering on the unit. This should reset the unit.
The tray should now open unless the circuit is bad or tray motor is faulty.

MY SAMSUNG DVD/VCR MACHINE IS

Hi,

Usually holding down the power button from 15 - 30 seconds would resolve the problem. It could be an internal failure. It is rare, but yes, there is a possibility.

Try one more trick - Unplug the player for 15 minutes and see, if that works. If not, revert and we could troubleshoot further.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

SAfe mode is stuck on. Was using DVD player

1. Check the batteries in the remote to see if they have a charge.
2. If you have a DVD button on the unit itself press this and see if you get a response.
3. Unplug the unit and wait 30 second plug it back into the AC and try your DVD player , this usually resets the digital switch in the controller to default.
4. You may need to have the unit serviced.
5. Go to the manufacturer's site and check the "troubleshooting" information for this problem there may be a solution that I may not have covered here or there may be a procedure they have to reset the unit.
I hope this helps! Have a great New Year!

My dv2150 says Bad Disc no matter what DVD I put

HI.This will occur when the optical assembly becomes unstable. this ((Whole One Piece)), assembly incorporates the spin/load motor, optics housing /arm, tracking device and tracking rail. This is connected to the loading dock assembly. This 'NO/BAD Disc' or CD NOT PLAYABLE, code is the result of a failed or burned out lens. It is possible that you have a dirty lens cap. you can try using a cleaning disk in this case to confirm actual lens failure. if the cleaning doesn't restore normal reading capabilities, this will confirm my diagnosis.

You will need to have the optical assembly replaced in this case. once replaced, your unit will be able to read and track once more.

No matter what disc I put in it wont play and Bad

Hello marciafoxmar,

If you know for a fact that the discs you are putting in, then there is obviously something wrong with the DVD player. When you put a DVD in your player, can you hear it spinning the disc at all? If your DVD is not even spinning the disk, I'm afraid your DVD player might be toast. If it does spin your discs, try a lens cleaning disc (available at pretty much any home electronics store or large chain store that sells home electronics). If that does not help, let us know and also let us know if you would be comfortable opening your DVD player.

Bad disk

if this disk plays on other sources then it is not the disk and sounds like it is a problem with the laser or the motor that pushes the laser along the disk if it dont play no disk at all then it is the layser if you have used a good quality lense cleaner and that didnt cure it then you could try if you are ok taking the case off leave it for 24 hours to make sure no electric is running through it and look where the laser eye is it should be neer the middle where the center of the cd sits if it isnt gently push it back to the middle this will recalibrate your laser then put it back together and try again if this dont work you will then have to get a replacement laser unit these can be expensive but you should be able to fit it your self as the wire areconected by conector but before you do this make sure you use a good lense cleaner as the cheaper ones wont work all the time and listen if the cd is spinning in the unit if its not spinning then you need replace the unit if you dont feel up to it then a repair shop will do this for you their si no way round it other than to replaceit they usually last the life of the warranty they are made to last no longer hope this is some help but not much more you can do

Keeps flashing "Bad disc".....

Try playing a CD instead of a DVD, if the audio CD plays normally that means that the laser on the DVD side is defective. This devices come with 2 laser picks, one for CD and the other one for DVDs.
