Two microwaves, 3 service companies and 6 service calls later, I think I have the answer. The units are ship from the factory set up to vent to the interior. If your want to vent outside, the fan in the right, rear, upper coner needs to be repositioned. Tell the service tech to go to servicematters, com and follow the link for technicians and find service pointer K8178715 issued in 2007. My unit has now run 20+ minutes with no problem and no moisture buildup.
There are two fuses inside the unit, a high voltage fuse as well as a slow blow fuse, you may need to replace these, but as well as that you may need to check the high voltage capacitor as well as the transformer if replacing the fuse's dont solve the problem. Good luck.
you will need to remove the srews on the very top on the unit
they are above the vent
once those are out slide the vent to the rigfht and off
onve thats out in the center of the machine you will see the lamp acess door
it should just lift up but some manufacturesers put a srew in there you have to loosen to open it up
Ok. try holding -0- button or the -clear- button for 3 seconds to lock and unlock. If that doesn't work, you can try unplugging the microwave for a few minutes and plugging it back in. If
that doesn't reset the board, then you're looking at possible bad interlock switches or
control board. You can get parts, diagrams, repair info at repairclinic.com.

I would contact customer service (for Amana, Frigidaire, Jenn-Air, Kitchenaid,
Litton, Maytag, Roper, Tappan, Thermador and Whirlpool) here about the warranty and to find your nearest authorized servicer.
If not, it's pretty easy to fix this yourself.
There are probably broken tabs on the inner or outer door panel.
Normally
you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo)
and then you'll see the screws you need to remove.
Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) here that demonstrates how it's done.

Normally if no power is indicated, it is due to a blown fuse but if fuse has blown be careful, it because there is something wrong. Mostly its due to a problem in the power circuit. Can either be the magnatron or the diode capacitor combination.Normally the capacitor goes faulty causing the HV diode to blow. Replace the two components(diode and cap.). If it happens again replace the magnatron. Microwave truely dangerous and needs proffesional att. email me if you want to go ahead yourself [email protected]
I would not normally expect a burned out light to trip a breaker.
You may have a blown fuse. I suspect the fuse you see is to protect the oven. If you popped a breaker, you may have blown a fuse. I'd be looking for a short somewhere, maybe in the wire that powers the light, maybe in the hardwire that supplies the oven.
Make sure you turn the power off before you go poking around. And, above all, avoid the silver can inside, it IS lethal.
There is always a fuse inside a microwave.Sometime this has only blown due to a surge, and upon replacing, the microwave will continue working. If it is something worse the fuse will continue to blow.In this case it could very well be the transformer, but there are other possible causes as well.(for example the control board or a short.)
