LE Message coming on

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

The 'LE' stands for 'Lock Error' and indicates there is a problem with the door lock. Either the locking solenoid or the door lock sensor is malfunctioning and requires attention. Sorry- Service call!

The door not unlockings

Hi,
Front loading washers have a safety feature to lock the door during washing. Try turning the power off to see if the door can be unlocked. But first, try applying a little more pressure to open the door. Pressures from washing may have sucked the door in and formed a seal.

I need the manual user of LG washing machine WD

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

You will need to type into your search engine the '(make) washer manual' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can either download a manual for free or have to pay a nominal amount. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number!

Good luck,

I have a fault coming on the display d.e and the

.I am not a repair professional. I am a 78 year old man
who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. So the washer or dryer ID doesn't mean much to me. I came to fixya looking for a schematic for an really old AM/FM radio and found that more than 4,700 people were asking for help with a washer repair. I recently had a washer repair of my own and at that time I found an excellent video which showed me how to take my machine apart. This video made it possible for me to do my own repair. If you are repairing a dryer or a front load washer I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good step by step trouble shooting and repair information on washers and dryers as well as other appliances. If you have a direct drive top load washer and need help taking it apart this video is an early christmas present. I was so impressed with it that when I saw all these people needing help, I wanted to tell them about it. If you look at the back of your washer and the panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove which would indicate you have a v-belt drive) chances are you have a direct drive and this video is just what you need. You can see it at www.acmehowto.com You will probably still need help in determining what the trouble is and how to fix it. After viewing the video or if you have a v-belt drive rather than a direct drive, I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good
trouble shooting and repair nformation on most
washers and dryers. I think you'll find what you need
there. Don't worry about the timer, they hardly ever
go bad. Good luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my advice on fixya.

LG WM12220fd

I believe that UE is the fault of an unbalanced load which caused the drum to hit the switch or faulty load balance switch.

If the switch is stuck you can try to shake the inner drum kind of violently up and down (you won't be able to hurt it).

If the machine exibits the same error code with the drum empty then it is possible that the switch is damaged and will have to be replaced.

Transport bolts left in on first spin cycle very briefly

It will be fine. The transit bolts are there to protect the springs and dampers from stretching if the machine is tilted or laid on its back during shipping to the seller and delivery to the home. In use with the transit bolts removed it allow the springs, the shock absorber and the big concrete block to absorb movement as the spin evens out the balance of the clothes with the first part of the spin. It also stops the machine walking across the floor as all of the movement is transferred to to case and feet. It will be fine, I have done it myself after I moved from one house to another and then didn't do any washing for a week or two. Enjoy your new machine. Finally, just for fun

My LG direct drive washing machine Gear system is broken. Same issue when I replaced it. Checked clutch regulate motor and work fine.

If the gear system of your LG direct drive washing machine is broken even after you have replaced it and checked the clutch regulate motor, there could be a few other reasons why this is happening. Here are some possible solutions to try:
  1. Check the motor: If the gear system is still not working, it could be a problem with the motor. Check if the motor is functioning properly and if it is getting power.
  2. Check the control board: The control board could also be a potential issue. Check if the control board is functioning properly and if any of the connections are loose or damaged.
  3. Check the drum bearings: The drum bearings may be worn out, causing the gear system to malfunction. Check if the drum bearings are in good condition or if they need to be replaced.
  4. Check the pulley: The pulley may be worn out or damaged, causing the gear system to malfunction. Check if the pulley is in good condition and if it is properly aligned.
If none of these solutions work, it may be a more serious issue with the washing machine that requires professional repair. In that case, you may need to contact LG customer support or a qualified technician for assistance.

My LG top load washing machines WF -T8019TC show an error code E2

The E2 error code on an LG washing machine usually indicates a problem with the water supply. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the water supply: Make sure that the water supply to the washing machine is turned on and the water pressure is adequate. If there is a problem with the water supply, fix it and try running the machine again.
  2. Check the water inlet valve: The water inlet valve is responsible for controlling the water flow into the washing machine. If the valve is faulty, it can cause the E2 error code. To check the valve, unplug the machine and turn off the water supply. Remove the hoses from the valve and check if there is any debris or damage. If the valve is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  3. Check the water level sensor: The water level sensor is responsible for detecting the water level in the washing machine. If it is faulty, it can cause the E2 error code. To check the sensor, unplug the machine and locate the water level sensor. Check for any damage or debris and clean it. If the sensor is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to contact a professional for further assistance.

  2. Wait for a few minutes to let the washing machine cool down.
  3. Press and hold the "Start/Pause" button for about five seconds.
  4. While still holding the "Start/Pause" button, turn on the washing machine by either plugging it back in or turning the circuit breaker back on.

Do LG front loaders have oil the motor?

This seems to be a very strange "Assessment". There is nothing on or inside a front loader washing machine that contains Oil. The motor is also tucked inside the machine often where it is difficult to get to. There will be small amounts of grease on the drum and motor bearings but not enough to affect other machine parts. I would suggest you get a second opinion from another good repairer. LG will claim that this damage was not due to a part failing so it will not be covered by a warranty or guarantee. This will be see as damage being done 'on purpose' so it's not their problem.
