If your picture looks green on all inputs and it slowly degraded, then you have an optical block problem. not repairable.

Yes, the lamp is nearing the end of life when the lamp light is a steady orange (yellow). Order a new one and replace it. (When other parts of the lamp system fail, you will see a blinking red light.)

The old and the new parts have same model's of tv and same parts #---.All way fit,if the parts of the tv is one of the main componnents that make the tv work.Talk to ur ventor u buy it from yet?Explain the problems,work somethings out.

There should be a LAMP light on the front..is this the light that is on? If so, you need a Lamp. If not, you probably still need a Lamp!

This is a manufacturer defect in the light engine. There is a class action lawsuit that was settled to extend the warranty and cover this repair for FREE. If you call LG with your model and serial number, they should direct you to the extended warranty department and set up the free repair. Could be a temp issue or bad cooling fan.

Blue lcd is burnt up.. Normally happens due to excess heat from poor ventilation or not changing the lamp at the required time.. Allways happens on the blue as blue light is the hottest wave length, and as the lamp burns, it shifts to that side. Nothing you can do but replace the lcd itself. From the image shown, looks like the unit uses sony lcds.. Sonys are well known for there burns.. No quick fix on this one.

hi for the lamp replacement ,you have to undo lamp cover from right hand side and then slide out thelamp case .to reset the lamp time,you have to press 'mute' on your remote and press 'ok' at the same time on front panel.

the problem may be due to dry soldering in the power supply stage if it was with the lamp there would be red or green light showing the presence of the power to the tv after making it own some of the components get hot and it will make the the soldering point conectionless and after some time the heat sink get cooled and the soldering point gets connected and u will see the picture again it is a simple problem if u have a soldering iron u make it hot and re solder all the components in the first part of the circuit board and the problem if rectified

This is the Power Board for it. check those 6 electrolytic Capacitors on the right for bulging or splitting. Don't buy it blindly, it's a guess.
