Sir/Mam, Have you had the developer and drum replaced recently, or does the screen say Replace PC Drum? There are certain house chores the copier does before "Ready to Copy" it is waiting for them to get done, so that equals "Please Wait". One big item is making sure the developer and toner are properly mixed inside the image unit underneath the drum or next to it depending on the series. Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure/Developer Charge, and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST? IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8/Developer Charge. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run. Or you will start all over again with new developer and a new drum.

Sir/Mam, Directly below the drum section is assemble called the transfer/separation assy. the purpose of this unit is twofold. (It houses to very thin gold plated wires) One wire is what helps the transfer of the image from the drum to the paper. Since the paper goes between this wire and the drum, the second wire prevents the paper from sticking to the drum during the transfer process. The code you have been getting means either wires might be broken, or has to be cleaned (because of all the toner on it from the drum assy. which needs to be removed and cleaned. Or The end blocks that hold the wires are getting old and allowing the High Voltage that is applied to the wire during the copy/print process to leak to ground. Open and close the front door to clear. If it comes back have a qualified tech look at it.

Did you replace the drum at the same time ?

The charge corona housing in the image unit replace it with a new one. Its the assy with the two blue/green hooks on the right side of the machine when you open the right side door

If not that then the main control board is bad. If you can find one!!! Best bet would be to replace the developer and ensure you clear the counters for the developer and run the required 36 Mode process after replacing the developer. DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER to replace the developer because the static electricity from the vacuum cleaner can destroy the sensor. Also the copier uses the counters to adjust voltages for certain assemblies. So if you replace the developer and don't clear the counters then the machine will adjust voltages for a used drum or developer when in reality the developer or the drum are new. Causing image problems and codes.

Cooling fan for the Orginal glass. Check the fan for the big glass under the document feeder. Might be bad

Check that no paper is jammed in printer
