• Install the ScanWizard Software in the Link above, and you should be all Good-To-Go.

• If you don't have WindowsXP, Go HERE and Select your Operating System.
• Then Choose the ScanWizard Software Download.

If u downloaded the driver, if it is an .EXE file just dubleclick on it and it will install it self. if its not an .EXE file, connect your scanner, the OS will find it and ask you fro drivers, whe it asks you point to the folder you stored the drivers in.
If the drivers you downloaded is packed you need to extract them. create a folder, rightclick on the file, select "extract files to" and point the extraction to that folder you created, when the files are axtracted you do as i told you from the beging.

Your Model 3840 Scan only works with Win 98SE/ME/2000/XP

At this point you can do:

1) Replace your Scanner for one Vista Compatible

or

2) Downgrade your system to Window XP
