YOU MAY HAVE A INTER MITTEN SHORT, A BULB MAYBE GETTING READY TO BURN OUT, THE VIBRATION WHEN YOU START THE CAR IS SHORTING OUT. 2 THINK TO CHECK THAT ALL THE GROUNDS ARE CLEAN AND THERE IS NO CORROSION, ON INSIDE THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, OR THERE IS A GROUND WIRE SOME WHERE IN THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM THAT IS LOSING IT CONNECTION, A SCREW THAT HOLDS THE CONNECTION TO THE GROUND IS LOOSEN UP. YOU MITE HAVE TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER OR A PERSON THAT WORKS ON INSTRUMENT PANEL OR LIVE WITH IT UNTIL IT FINAL SHORTS OUT OR STOPS WORKING.

***************************************IMPORTANT***************
it is easier to repair as it is now that later because they have a way of sending a signal on a wire and by figuring out the time of the signal and distance they have a place or ruff idea where the short is, if it stops working all together you are talking a lot more money to troubleshoot the problem and cost searching for a needle in a hey stack, and miles of wire harness in your car. if it now not later!!!!

IF YOU'RE ASKING THIS IN A SECTION DEALING WITH COMPUTER MOTHERBOARDS YOU NEED TO TRY AGAIN. You are lucky here as I'm also a mechanic. Remove a battery terminal for a few seconds and it will all reset to default.... Now go to a garage.

Check the manual and find the fuse box or boxes. find the dash lite fuse, it may say " interior illumination" If it is good check also the radio fuse.
If the fuses are good, you have to visit a wv dealer for detailed fault finding.
If the car still have warranty, don`t mess with the electrical system.
The car also have can bus electrical system, and it can go wrong when you try to fault find your self.

The fault could be the light switch, fuses, the radio.

Here is a fuse list for a golf:

Check the Fog light relay, instrument panel light dimmer switch fuse.

Good luck

Hello the fault means:

Throttle Position Sensor - Signal Out of Range (G69) Also check for loose ECM power relay.

The fault can be solved by cleaning the throttle valve and reseting the sensor after the valve is been cleaned for dirt.
The fault comes when the valve does not close properly.
This is not a home job.
The wv dealer can clean and reset the sensor for you.

Here is more fault codes in pdf format:

You need adobe reader to read the content.

Good luck

ell, you could try but why would you? It is like asking if you can make a square wheel. The very value of the machine is in its simplicity. It was not designed to be flexible but rather to perform very specific functions in a very straight forward, easy to use way that would not require a steep learning curve or even a key board. It was not designed to permit you to add additional software to the system. Rather, it does what it does without being readily breakable by a user's input. The same money would buy a more powerful Windows based computer but then that would be absent the very directness of this unit. As it appears its operating system is a proprietary offshoot of Limux, you are not going to be adding Windows games to it. And any attached hardware choices are likely limited to one's provided by the company. If you did succeed in somehow installing Windows 10 on it, I believe you would find it creeping along at a snail's pace under the weight of that OS and begging for drivers from vendors without sufficent reason to develop such. So, can you? Maybe. But would you want to give yourself this sort of headache? I doubt the machine's support team would give you the sort of tech assistance you would require. Rather, I think the response might be equivalent to a raspberry.

There are various third party applications available online for these kind of problems, one of them I know is Mail exporter pro.
I have successfully migrated all my emails, address book and contacts easily to outlook 2011 and they are running safely and in good condition
