Hello, in order to find the leak usually a dye is injected into the system and will pinpoint exactly where a leak is. If the condenser is leaking your better off replacing it then trying to spot braze it. The ductwork needs to be supported properly with very little restriction so the air csn move freely. Flex duct has a tendecynto tear or come apart so it needs to be checked over and repaired if you see it torn or sagging anywhere.

Add a head pressure control the fan won't run untill it is running about 30 seconds.

The answer is yes however you will want to change the indoor coil in the furnace also.
You would look for a 1.5 ton matched set.

Be happy to help you and find an answer. Did your compressor burn out? What are the numbers on top of the compressor? How many BTU's or What is the the size? Tons of BTU's?

It's the limit switch that is located on the fire box. There are two wires that go to a disk about the size of a penny and in between the two wires is a very small button. This button resets the limit. If this switch is tripped, the flame will immediately go out to protect you from carbon monoxide poisoning and possible fire. If it will not reset, then take the two wires off and use another piece of wire to jump the switch. If it lights, then you know that the limit is bad. If not, then there are a few more to find. There could be 2 to 3 of these on the fire box and there is usually one near the inducer or on the inducer.

If the scream is something new...have  tech look at it.  You've got problems coming and you don't want that on a really cold day.

Are you an HVAC engineer? If not you are at a disadvantage. If you have a multimeter, you can disconnect the motor and test it with the meter, or check the voltage on it and test it on direct mains current. So that tests if the motor works. The clicking is relays involved in the management system and start up sequence they all need checking. Also check that the contactor is actually putting out voltage? Hearing a contactor work, only signifies that the solenoid is working, and doesn't tell you if the contacts are burned away and not passing current. If you have only 2 wires you will need a a simple thermostat. Usually 2 wire are either millivolt or millamp thermostat. based on your question There is no 24 volt power form unit. So, blower motor issue? Turn tstat fan to on. Possibly has a capacitor that is bad, motor could be bad, relay could be bad, sequencer or board. You need a voltage meter.

Put the red wire from the secondary/24 side of transformer directly to the green. If blower works the problem is outside of machine.
