Dishwasher floods instead of filling
Possibly food blockage. You can try shooting some air under pressure into the fill hole to blow it free. A simple shop vac on "blow" may be enough if you do not have a small compressor. Other possibility is the exhaust going into the garbage disposal is blocked so that the water cannot exhaust and any amount added floods the unit. (first item is most likely).

Have an AEG 8081i dishwasher.
Aeg 8081iM "CE" fault..
Fixed it! :) wax valve looks like it got water in it, blew the controlling triac on the main board and fried a track on the board. Bought a new wax valve, installed it. Got a quote for a new board...too much($600Aud+ I'd buy a new one If I had to pay that)...Found a dead machine which had a blown transormer but good board, so played swapsies with the transformers on the main board. Fixed the source of the leak, switched it on and started washing the dishes! :) Now have a $30 spare parts machine for the experience! :)
