The UO code on most Frigidaire dishwashers means that the vent at the back of the dishwasher is open (or at least the sensor is claiming it is open). Since this vent should be closed except during the drying cycle, the unit will not start. This avoids having the washer spray water into your cabinet during the wash cycle. The vent sensor is an optical sensor that is inside the vent assembly. So there are a few places that could fail causing the error. First check the wiring and the connectors for the wires between the vent and the CCU (main control board). If there are any broken wires or corrosion the message may not be reaching the control board. Replace any faulty wiring. If the wiring is fine, try replacing the vent assembly. On some Frigidaire models, the wiring and the vent assembly need to be replaced at the same time. If that doesn't solve the problem then the control board needs to be replaced. Well, I've got a different problem. I need a control module!!!

BUT!

The flashing WASH light appears to indicate the door latch (switch) is not fully engaged. I proved that I mine which works, just doesn't pump out/drain water. If I unlatch the door and then press START, the WASH light blinks.

The switch is located behind the control panel (5 screws from the inside.) The Hot (Black) AND Neutral (White) wires comes from the electrical input and pass through the switch. You can do a simple continuity check with the power disengaged to test the path through the switch and into the control module (pins 3 & 9m black and white).

Now... anyone have a Control Module (working) they want to give/sell to me so I don't have to go buy a new dishwasher? I just replaced the drain valve on mine :( If you do, you can send me a note vidioteic (at) gmail (dot) com

the problem is in the pcb board which will have to be replaced and cost a few hundred dollars. considering that machine is only designed to last 7 years i would just replace the entire machine.
