Frigidaire 24 in. FDB1050REC Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher - Page 3 Questions & Answers
Message "er" and "uo" on front panel and slight bumping noise
The UO code on most Frigidaire dishwashers means that the vent at the back of the dishwasher is open (or at least the sensor is claiming it is open). Since this vent should be closed except during the drying cycle, the unit will not start. This avoids having the washer spray water into your cabinet during the wash cycle.
The vent sensor is an optical sensor that is inside the vent assembly. So there are a few places that could fail causing the error. First check the wiring and the connectors for the wires between the vent and the CCU (main control board). If there are any broken wires or corrosion the message may not be reaching the control board. Replace any faulty wiring. If the wiring is fine, try replacing the vent assembly. On some Frigidaire models, the wiring and the vent assembly need to be replaced at the same time. If that doesn't solve the problem then the control board needs to be replaced.
Please note: when I look at the parts for the FDB1050REC0, I found a static dryer vent,

I hope this helps.

Not cleaning dishes
Good Morning Lynn, thank you for your post!
I understand your dishwasher is not cleaning properly. Will the spray arm rotate freely or is it damaged? If so, you might have to remove and replace the spray arm assemblies. The top spray arm typically starts to function when the unit is in rinse or wash cycle. If for some reason the top rack is not getting clean, there is a possibility that it is not working properly. The top spray arm is either blocked by pots/pans or not enough water pressure is being pump meaning that the flow of water is not making it to the upper spray arm. If you tap the delivery tube that feeds this nozzle and the water pressure jumps immediately, then the problem may lie with a faulty pump or impeller. Should all basic troubleshooting measures fail contact a certified technician to narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be the root cause.
WILL NOT GO PAST WASH CYCLE
Hello Art, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Let's try resetting your dishwasher. This can be done by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn your dishwasher on. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, it could possibly be a few things: faulty timer, a communication problem with the control board or a potential wiring failure. At this point, I would recommend having a service technician to diagnose the problem before investing in unnecessary parts.
Won't turn on
Good Morning Sandrafiske, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
I understand your dishwasher is inoperable. Let's try resetting your dishwasher by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is necessary to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn your dishwasher on. Confirm that the door is securely closed and select a cycle. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, it could potentially mean a number of things: a potential wiring failure, damaged cord, faulty door latch assembly or control board. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your dishwasher to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts.
Frigidaire Dishwasher (model FDB1050REB0) Wash Light Flashing
Well, I've got a different problem. I need a control module!!!
BUT!
The flashing WASH light appears to indicate the door latch (switch) is not fully engaged. I proved that I mine which works, just doesn't pump out/drain water. If I unlatch the door and then press START, the WASH light blinks.
*WARNING* 120V ELECTRICAL CURRENT! ONLY ATTEMPT THIS IS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!
The switch is located behind the control panel (5 screws from the inside.) The Hot (Black) AND Neutral (White) wires comes from the electrical input and pass through the switch. You can do a simple continuity check with the power disengaged to test the path through the switch and into the control module (pins 3 & 9m black and white).
Now... anyone have a Control Module (working) they want to give/sell to me so I don't have to go buy a new dishwasher? I just replaced the drain valve on mine :( If you do, you can send me a note vidioteic (at) gmail (dot) com
Happy Washing!
The Clean light on my frigidaire gallery
the problem is in the pcb board which will have to be replaced and cost a few hundred dollars. considering that machine is only designed to last 7 years i would just replace the entire machine.

Hi, it make a loud grinding noise while it runs.
Hello pwturnbull, thank you for allowing me to assist you.
Typically, when a dishwasher is making a grinding noise
during operation, it is because it may possibly have a faulty drain motor. This
is not a typically DIY job. I would recommend reaching out to an experienced appliance

MY FFBD2409LSOB has a leak during washing cycle.
Good Morning Rachele, thank you for your inquiry!
Often when a dishwasher leaks, it is because the unit could
possibly be unlevel. If not, water can be leaking over the front lower baffle
in the door. Try looking along the cabinet and see if the unit is even with the
cabinet. Measure the correct amount of detergent as found in the Owner's Guide.
It is recommended to use one teaspoon for every three grains of harness. If
regular dishwasher detergent (for sink use) is used in a dishwasher it can also
cause excessive sudsing. Lastly, the dishwasher could possibly have a loose
water vale or a crack in the tub. I hope this information helps to some degree.
If there is anything else that I can help you with, please feel free to
reconnect!
