Water leaking inward

There should be a drip tray that catches all the condensation and funnels it out the back. Check for holes, cracks or a plugged drain hole.

Why isn't it blowing cold air and is dry inside, no water to drain out?

Good Afternoon Friend, I understand that your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FAC124, is not blowing cold air and there is no water draining out. First, try setting the temperature to a lower temperature. Secondly, make sure the compressor did not shut off by switching modes. Make sure it is on cool and wait approximately 3 minutes and listen for the compressor to restart. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your air conditioner status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best regards- WP

Window ac is blowing water

There is a drainage hole on the outside of the window unit. It is blocked. Remove power from the window unit. Unclog with a wire coat hanger.

Why does wall make ticking

Marvin, it could be water dripping into the drain pan under the unit or the metal of the outer shell is cooling off (metal stress). Also, is the drain pan is full the fan blades may be hitting the water, In which case the rear of the unit needs to be tilted down 1/4" to 1/2". So, the water will flow to the rear of the pan and out the drain hole. These sounds are normal and will do no harm. If you want to test this theory, turn the unit OFF & unplug it. If you still hear the ticking sound, it's one of the above.

Hope this helps & thanks for choosing FixYa.

Toget proper heat, keep your temp setting at 30+ degree and also mode in "heat"position. If still no heat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by anOHMs metre. It it's with RV, check power to RV.If it's with heatingelement check power to element. If power is there but still no heat meanselement defective. Replace new heating element. Thanks.

There is the refrigerant in the compressor assembly of the ac.If this refrigerant gets low then ac will work but it will not cool properly. For leaking problem check the drain line and the drain hose from where water gets drain. If the drain line is blocked or cracked the water will leak. Also check and clean the condenser coils in the ac.If this coils are dirty then ac will not cool properly and also water will leak. If the refrigerant is low then get it refilled from local ac store. Then check it will work. Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

This is normal condensation that occurs when you have cold air being introduced to warm/humid air. Its like a cold drink set out in the heat and the cup sweating on the outside. It does get irritating sometimes, but not much you can do. Sorry

My unit keeps freezing. How do I stop it?

First, make sure you have it set at a mid temp. Eventhough the thermostat says it will make ice cubes, it isn't supposed to. The unit should cycle on and off with a room temperature of 70 - 72 degrees.

Secont, make sure that the filter and the insode and outside coild are clean. If they are dirty, wash the filter and gently bruch the coild, being careful not to flaten teh aluminum fins.

If you are handy, take the unit outside, remove the cabbinet (and with it UNPLUGGED), spray it down with a garden hose, running water through both coils. Let it dry fro a few hours, put the cover back on and put it back in the window.

If you still get icing, you probably have a low charge. With the cost of labor, and the price of window units, you'ld be better off replacing it than fixing it, unless you have a local air conditioning school that will do it for cost of materials.
