I have a 6 burner
Dear Kathynearing,
Hi. I have experience cooking in a burner like that it keeps on burning coz the ignition coil was press by your switch knob coz the spring was stack up try to release it so that it will not be ignited all the time when your cooking. This should be ignited at once. If it gives light already it should be released. Please reply if you have solved the problem so that I can give you more advices.

One of the gas burners does not open.
The valve is either clogged or defective. Best bet is to get a new valve. Servicing old ones is a poor bet. If you are unsure how to install it, get a service person. Gas can be dangerous if the job is done wrong.

check all fuses, the power cord, the circut breaker and if you have a multimeter see if you have voltage at the plug in the wall
