Favorit 84470VI

Heater, 230V./2000W.-d.32mm. The heating element, which is encased inside a tube, is used to heat the washing water. The heating element is not activated during the drying phase. Inserted into the delivery side of the washing pump and coupled with the duct which directs water to the upper spray arm. Built-in safety devices: Two thermostats First thermostat: auto-reset bi-metal thermostat calibrated to 98°C and connected in series to one branch of the heating element. Second thermostat: manual-reset fuse calibrated to 206°C and connected in series to the second branch of the heating element. If this fuse intervenes, the heating element is disconnected definitively. 25966855-vhkvuwxe0dpywjiqbdtoypy4-4-0.jpg Dado

How to connect incoming power cable live and neutral to AEG FAVORIT 60860 dishwasher?

I think it is best to connect power cable directly to the interference filter where is normally connected. The interference filter is connected in the terminal board parallel to the mains feed. Fav 60750 dishwasher has intermittent short circuit causing sparks from inner mains connector triggering house circuit breakers. No short circuit points obvious on wires or equipment. Where should I

It is not clear to me whether triggered fuse or differential circuit breaker? If triggered fuse than is short circuit or overload. If triggered only differential circuit breaker than could be current leakage. In case of short circuit I suggest you to disconnect all load, one by one (pump, motor, heating element.....etc.), until you find a load that make a short circuit. In case of current leakage, my experience says check heating element measuring resistence between housing (earted) and each pin (two) of heating element. Should be more than 2 MOhm.I hope I've helped.Dado

AEG OKO FAVORIT 40300 When switching dishwasher on no water is flowing into the the dishwasher?

It should first be checked for correct water inlet hose with safety valve. After connecting the double-walled water inlet hose, the safety valve is next to the tap. Therefore the water inlet hose is only under pressure while the water is running. If the water inlet hose starts to leak during this operation, the safety valve cuts off the running water and the draining pump in the dishwasher is switched on. If the inlet hose with safety valve working correctly than could be some of following faulties.
  • The door of the dishwasher is not closed properly.
  • Mains plug is not plugged in.
  • House fuse in defective.
  • In the case of dishwasher models with start delay timer: A start delay is selected.
If you look at the lower electrical diagram then you can see that all electrical components are located in a circuit inlet valve which can be also faulty.
  • ON/OFF Switch
  • Door switch
  • Program controller (Timer)
  • Pressure switch
  • Inlet valve
  • Float switch
  • Wiring between all this components

How do I fix error .60?

The temperature must increase by a certain amount at each step. If there is no temperature increase, the electronics will generate "Heating Time Out" or fault code i60. In this case program will continue to the end without heating and the washing result will probably be unsatisfactory. Could be: Heating element faulty; intervention of safety thermostats (open); faulty wiring; NTC sensor (poor thermal contact); insufficient water circulating in the tub; washing faulty pump (impeller stripped); circuit board faulty. I have a oko favorit 4071 doesnt start and display H8 error.

I think this is not the error code. I belive this is hardness of water (could be set from 0 or 1 to 10, depending of model. Read your user manual how to exit the program for adjust the water hardness). Error code for your appliance depending on model and look like: i10, i20,i30............ or C1, C2,C3............. Dado

Why my AEG F55080vi stops after drain cycle (program beginning) and then it stops and I hear 2 beeps and 2 flash continuously?

Definitely, water drain time-out. Error code i20. The pressure switch doesn't return to EMPTY (1-2) after two drain phases lasting 120 seconds. Possible causes: Drain circuit obstructed/blocked; drain pump interrupted or jammed (foreign bodies); level pressure switch blocked on FULL (1-3); hydraulic circuit of pressure switch obstructed; wiring faulty; circuit board faulty. Thanks to your detailed description of failure I conclude that in drain phase (after starts drain pump) leaks water and causing a short circuit. I would thoroughly reviewed drain hydraulic circuit. If is alarm displayed and there is no water inside dishwasher then check heater and anti-interference suppressor. Dado

AEG 50879

This option can be selected by pressing the corresponding button, and remains in memory until the same button is pressed again. This option modifies the phases of the programme in order to optimize performance when "3 in 1, 5 in 1, 7 in 1, ......." detergent tablets are used: - variation of the duration of the programme and the temperatures required to dissolve the detergent tablets. - reduction of water exchange - exclusion of introduction of rinse-aid - exclusion of regeneration If you use a dishwasher in the traditional manner (detergent, rinse aid, salt) then the Multitab function is disabled. If you use tabs that are already on the market with rinse aid and salt there is a possibility during washing cycle to add a double dose of rinse aid. From rinse aid dispenser and rinse aid from tabs. This will lead to poor cleaning results, glasses will look like they have been washed in milk..To avoid that you must turn on "Multitab" function and thus exclusion of introduction of rinse-aid from rinse aid dispenser. This function also stops the regeneration and will not spend salt because salt is already in a tabs. Also extends the washing time because tablets need more time to dissolve in relation to the traditional powder detergent. Dado
