Most likely the power supply has to be replaced; but it could be the safety switch too. Do you have any experience or knowledge in using meters and troubleshooting electronics? If not and you want to repair the microwave- send it out to a qualified/ certified microwave repair shop. Or else buy a new one. Best regards ~

hi,
As you mensioned the Magnetron or the capacitor of the oven is short. If the magnetron or the capacitor is short then the transformer driving the magnetron will get over heated because of the over current drain. It will finally result in failure of the mains fuse inside the oven. You have to check the fuse first. If its faulty then change the same with anew one. If the fuse again blews the you have to replace the manetron and the capacitor. The magnetron and the capacitor will look like on in the picture. Magnetron in the microwave oven produce the microwaves which heats the food.
ok

The microwaves are produced by a MAGNETRON. Everything else can work, but if that does not, then there is no heat added to the food. Unfortunately it is the most expensive part of the microwave and has nothing you can really work on.

Hope this helps.
