No remote.. wire possibly not hooked up?? The little blue wire usually.. ground is bad..brown wire? Black wire??. Inline fuse might have blown really big red wire?

yellow- 12volt
red- Ignition
black- ground
blue/white- remote (amp turn-on)
white and white/black- front left
gray and gray/black- front right
green and green/black- rear left
purple and purple/black- rear right

No, I'm afraid not. Usually you can tell if a pioneer will play mp3 cds, because there should be "mp" in the model number. Such as "deh-1800mp".

No the red wire is +12 volt only when key is turned on. Yellow must be connected to a constant +12 volts.

Try this.

For most older Pioneer single CD players, you can set the clock using the following steps:
  1. Press and hold the SOURCE button until the unit shuts off.
  2. Press and hold SOURCE again until the clock appears.
    *With some models you will press and hold the FUNCTION or AUDIO button instead of the SOURCE button.
  3. Press the left or right arrow to select the segment of time you wish to adjust.
  4. Press the up or down arrows to increase or decrease the numbers in the blinking segment.
  5. Once the clock is set correctly, press the SOURCE button to exit.

was it working before you put the vehicle in storage? if just the audio is not working, there is no code. as far as i know pioneers do not have security codes. you might want to check your speaker wires and speakers for shorts and bare wires.
