I am trying to hook my ipod into the aux inputs in the back, but it won't play. I clicked function because the manual said i had to go through that to turn them on, but there wasn't a "aux" under function. Does anyone know how to get them to work?
Turn the ignition key to on or accessory position, turn the stereo off, then hold the function key for a couple seconds, the stereo will turn on and you scroll through the menu with the left and right arrow buttons and change settings with the up and down buttons

I have a pioneer deh-p6300 i keep getting an error 17 when cd is loaded.
I have just replaced the battery in the vehicle. any help with this would be great Thanks
manual said electrical / mechanical. As it's to do with the CD it's probably mechanical. not a lot you could do, Probably the motor is jammed, lens needs cleaning something like that. Best think without opening it up. shoot some air down into the CD slot

it's inside the middle console and wont load any cd's. spins for abou 2 or 3 sec and displays cddj error on display. the radio functions all work everything but the cd player it's self. can anyone help... please
I've had GREAT success by resetting the changer. Try unpluging the changer with the power ON, wait a few, then plug back in. It's not hard to remove. Can I assume that you did NOT misload or install any CD' upside down? If not, then proceed with a reset. Can you eject the magazine? If so, proceed with reset. If you can NOT eject the magazine, then you will need to "open up the can" and do a manual eject with power assist by moving the gears while pushing the eject button. Sounds like a lot, but for me it's easy. Remember patience!!

Have a plug that came with the CD Player but it looks like it is missing a wire and I am trying to find out which one. Need a color coded wiring harness diagram to make sure all the wires are there.
Hello randscates,
Here's a link to the manual. The wiring color code for the supplied harness is on page 78. The diagram is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. I recommend that you download the PDF and print out the page you need.
Hope this helps.

want to turn off the annoying beeping sound every time i push a button on the unit, remote or adjust the volume
Turn the unit off by pressing and holding the volume button till it powers down (NOT VIA THE IGNITION SWITCH!) Once off, press and hold the fuction button (located in the top left hand corner near the volume dial) until unit lights up again and a menu appears, near the end of that menu you can change the beep noises to off like volume or when ignition is off but unfortunatly you cannot change the beep for changing track.
