Screen motor stuck
This problem happened to me. You need to disconnect the unit from the battery. Let it sit. Then hook it up. You might have to turn it off an on a couple times, then bingo! it will open again!
My screen just turned off... I get sound for about 3 seconds when I first start the car, then it shuts off.... any ideas??

Pioneer AVIC-D1 Touch Screen Recalibration
If your pioneer AVIC car navigation unit does not register your touches or the wrong button is “pressed”, you need to re-calibrate your screen’s digitizer.
1-Hold the Eject button down until the face of the unit drops all the way
2-Using a pen hold down the reset button (just above the joystick) and the navigation disc eject simultaneously.
3-Release the reset button.
4-Release the dvd eject button next. The display will read “press reset”
5-Push the joystick up two times.
6-Push the joystick down twice.
7-Press the joystick in.
8-The service menu will appear after a short pause. You can navigate the service menu using the joystick.
9-Chose the first menu option and press in on the joystick.
10-Trace the screen with a stylus.
11-"P.ADJ" is the back button
12-Chose the second menu item in order to calibrate the touch screen. Use a stylus again and tap the "+" sign on the screen. (You may have to touch slightly off center if the digitizer is damaged. In which case things will still be off but it will be much better.)

Pioneer car stereo instalation
if they are all positive speaker wires then each speaker will get a positive and the other speaker wire goes to the ground of the ground wire
When i turn on my
There's a wire on the radio that connects to a constantly LIVE 12V circuit. This wire usually has an inline fuse. If this wire has become disconnected, or if the fuse blew, or if the fuse supplying the area that this wire is connected to has blown, you'll lose all memory capability on the radio.
Check the fuses in your car's fuseblock for a blown fuse. If you can't find anything blown, check the inline fuse described earlier. My guess is that you'll find one of these is causing the problem.
Let me know what happens. Please rate accordingly.
NO POWER TO PIONEER HEAD UNIT

How to change time on Pioneer Carrozzeria avic hrv22 it has only Japanese, that's what my car's audio/GPS system and, please, help me out with changing language to English and finding maps? Thanks!!
Changing the language and updating maps on a Pioneer Carrozzeria AVIC HRV22, which typically comes with Japanese language settings, can be a bit tricky, but it's possible. Here's a general guide:
- Locate the Settings: First, try to navigate through the menu to find the settings option. It might be represented by a gear icon or a wrench icon.
- Use a Translation App or Guide: If you can't understand the Japanese menu, use a translation app on your smartphone to translate the menu options. Alternatively, you can search online for a guide or manual in English for your specific model.
- Change the Language: Once you've located the settings menu, look for an option related to language settings (???? in Japanese). Select it and then choose English (or ?? in Japanese). Confirm your selection.
- Update Maps: Updating the maps might require accessing a specific section of the menu, typically labeled something like "Map Update" (????). Once you're in that section, follow the prompts to update the maps. This might involve connecting the device to a computer and downloading the updated maps from the manufacturer's website.
- Follow On-Screen Instructions: Throughout the process, pay attention to any on-screen instructions or prompts, even if they're in Japanese. Sometimes, the navigation buttons or layout might remain consistent regardless of the language.
- Reset if Necessary: If you accidentally get stuck or lost in the menus, there might be a reset button somewhere on the device. Pressing this button will restore the device to its factory settings, allowing you to start over.
If you find it challenging to navigate the menu or if the options are not readily understandable, you might want to seek assistance from someone who understands Japanese or consult a professional who specializes in car audio/GPS systems. They can guide you through the process more efficiently.
