The way to determine whether it's the thermostat or a refrigerant problem is to take note of when it shuts off.
If you can hear the compressor running all the time then the thermostat is fine. If the compressor shuts off before the refrigerator gets cold then it may be a thermostat problem.
Before assuming it's a 'gas' or refrigerant leak I suggest you check the c
ondenser coils, these are copper coils of tubing usually located on the back of the unit near the ground. They need to be free of all dust and grease to work at maximum efficiency and it is recommended to clean them every 6 to 10 months. If that doesn't solve the problem then there may be a refrigerant leak. In order to legally put reclaim, recharge, or test refrigerants you need a special certification
from the EPA. If you need to do so I recommend you call in a certified technician.
Freezer keeps frosting up real fast.
Well, the defrosting system is crapped out. Check defrost timer, defrost heater, and defrost thermostat to locate faulty component. Read more about diagnosing defrost system failures.

Can you add 134a freon to a Dehumidifier?
why do you want to put gas into your dehumidifier????????. this only needs to be done if there has been a leak and in that case you need to cure the leak first. you should use a vac pump as well to clear the charging line of gas. ideally, you should degas the appliance first and charge with the correct amount of gas.. the type of gas you need should be on the rating plate and is not necessarily r134a. gas goes in on the low pressure side and for this you can use either the charging stub (piece of pipe which is blanked off) or the low pressure pipe which is the larger diameter pipe of the other two. any refrigeration needs the correct amount of the correct gas.
I have an AEG SANTO OKO fridge unit only about 1 year old.
We just cannot open the door without it being pulled 2 inches on every open. I have since placed it on a rubber mat with no success
You have very good door-seals,
with strong magnets on the refrigerator.
I suspect, You must pull hard to open the door.
Does the fridge have 2 wheels?
It may only stand firm on 2 "legs" and not 4.
This problem is the first, I ever heard,
I do not know this model,
If it is a Refrigerator that is not very heavy, this can happen.
When the door seals are very good, what can happen is
The door has been closed and the air inside the fridge becomes cooler and cooler.
The air inside the food-compartment contracts,
because it cools down and pulls even more on the inside of the door surface, actually pulling the door shut.
( a negative air-pressure inside the fridge) compared to
the outside of the refrigerator.
A trick I am using is,
1.)
I place my finger between the door and the cabinet-frame.
2.)
Then, with the finger, index or middle finger,
I push gently
against the Door-Seal (Gasket).
for 1 or 2 seconds,
This allows the Air from outside, (higher pressure)
to flow into the food compartment of the fridge
and now it is easy to open the door.
Let me know if this works for you.
Appreciate to be alive and be kind to others.
