How do I access the

Water is appearing under the front left foot (as
Freezer drain is plugged.
Two solutions:
1. Call a service repair company.
2. Turn off both controls (turn to lowest setting) and open freezer door for minimum of 24 hours (max 48 hours). That will thaw drain sufficiently.
What has happened: Somehow the freezer drain had ice build-up and eventually froze solid. Every time the unit went into defrost mode, the melted frost (now water) had no place to go. The normal exit is the freezer drain hole which leads to the drip pan underneath. That exit is plugged with ice, so the water went where it could - across the freezer floor and out the bottom of the freezer door. You found it and wondered why.
Changing the doors.
tip unit back so you can see bottom hinge and unscrew it , remove plus blank from doors and rehang door on the other side inset blank plugs and stand freezer upright DO NOT turn on power if it has been lying on floor for an hour or two
