Sounds like the power supply may be going out, or check and see if there is a circuit breaker button on the back. Otherwise there may e a blown fuse that is internal. Don't open the back unless you have training on what is safe to touch as the picture tube can maintain a HUGE electrical charge that can stop your heart if you accidently touch the wrong thing. Sounds like a weak power supply tho. Jay

First and foremost, is it completely black or if you change the channels (like to an HDMI channel) do you see the display number in the corner? If the latter, then it's possible that the device(s) you have plugged into it, or the HDMI port went bad. Doubtful that is the problem, but I thought I would mention it first.

Try unplugging it and leaving it unplugged overnight. When you plug it back in do you have a picture? Probably not, but it's worth a try.

Beyond that, there are a couple of things that can be wrong:
Loose wiring - these TV's are really well known for loose wiring. If you feel competent enough to take the back off the TV, you can check for loose wiring

Bad capacitor's - these TV's also have really poor quality parts inside and a bad capacitor (or multiple bad capacitor's) can cause the same thing. Again, if you feel competent enough to take the back off the TV, you can look for bulging or leaking capacitors, they look sort of like a dripping or draining battery or bulging battery to someone not used to looking at them

Smacking the back of the TV - this one sounds weird, but sometimes smacking the backside of the TV will knock whatever came out of place back into place and it will start working again

Bad bulb - sometimes the bulb goes out, and a bulb is an inexpensive fix, but you'll need a TV repair shop to do the repair (unless you know something about TVs)

Worst case scenario - worst case scenario would be a burnt out board which can cost more than a new TV, especially of this brand

I don't recommend you open the TV unless you feel comfortable. It's high voltage back there and can result in injury if you don't know what you are doing. Additionally, there are some problems that can be fixed by watching You Tube videos it tells you how to diagnose the problem, what to purchase, etc. You might want to research such videos, if you feel comfortable doing the project yourself.

Good luck!

All televisions can be fixed, but don't try yourself!

Here is a question that we see often.
Question:

I've replaced everything in my television because it previously had a black screen with no lighting. Now it doesn't turn on at all and all I have is audio. What could be the cause ?

So your television stops working properly and you think it must be easy to fix, because you can buy boards on eBay, and you can watch YouTube videos. So you make a decision, you buy a board and you fit it, but the television still doesn't work! This is a classic case of the 'let's try replacing this' method of television repair and illustrates why it is a bad idea. It doesn't work for a number of reasons. To correctly diagnose issues, you need to know every board, what is does and every component on the board. You need to know which part has failed, replace the component, or replace the board. The parts you purchased off eBay were probably out of scrapped sets and not tested. The part your put in was dead when you put it in, so you just moved on to another guess at what might be the cause and replace a board that is fine. And so it goes on, you change all the boards and it still doesn't work. Did you notice the large print that says 'No Refunds, NO Returns'. This is to stop you sending your old one back and saying it didn't work, but the unscrupulous use it as an excuse to get money for selling items that may not work! The course to be a television engineer is 2 years full time education, take it to someone that knows how to diagnose and fix. It is by far the cheapest option. The part that failed might be a 20 cents fuse diode hard soldered to a board. They will charge you $2 parts and an hours labour.
